I ordered there twice and I will NEVER order from them again! I think they get a tax break from the federal government for hiring mentally handicapped people to work the counter. The kid on the phone had to be told where I lived about 9 times, he thought I didn't know what town I lived in because he in all his years has never heard of my street. I told him what I wanted on my sandwich and he asked me if I wanted cheese or mayonnaise, I answered "No I want lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and extra BBQ sauce", I had to repeat that statement about 9 times too. I guess if you add cheese and mayonnaise to what I asked for that makes it a "super beef with everything" which I can only assume is easier to remember than what I wanted... I didn't get extra BBQ sauce, there was almost no sauce on my super beef and I didn't get pickles like I asked either I ended up drenching my sandwich with franks red hot so that there was some kind of sauce on it and it ended up being the worst super beef I've ever had. The icing on the cake was the fact that they told me it would be 20 minutes, it took over an hour for me to get my dinner and the Pizza I ordered for my kids was luke warm by the time it got to my door. We ended up heating it in the toaster oven. I hope the owner reads my and the many other negative comments on here before he loses his business.
Ordering food shouldn't be stressful, my face felt hot after the phone call and I considered hanging the phone up and just canceling the order. The phone conversation I had with the kid would never have happened if the business was properly managed, if that kid just listened to what I said and stopped trying to add details and comments I wouldn't have felt as stressed out. He had an attitude too as if I was a jerk for wanting my super beef the way I wanted it.
On the bright side if a business as mismanaged as Giovannis can survive up here in New Hampshire, I could open a restaurant instead of working a job because I know I could do a better job of running a business...
Read moreSo disappointed. I ordered a large sub and pizza, waited an hour and a half for delivery, which was ok because they had given me a heads up about the wait time when I ordered. When my delivery finally arrived they brought a sub and a small container of pasta instead of the large pizza. I called the shop and they said they would send a pizza but to return the pasta when the pizza arrived. I asked if they would throw the pasta in for free since they made the error and I had already patiently waited an hour and a half for delivery and now I was starving and they said that I could keep the pasta but then I would not get the pizza. Whereas the pasta was not going to be enough to feed my hungry family, I had to make them all wait another half hour for the pizza to be delivered before they could eat. I found this transaction to be very poor business and not good customer care. The girl on the phone was very unfriendly and sounded like she could care less about the mix up or the fact that we were now waiting two hours for the correct food to be delivered so that my kids and I could have our dinner. It is a shame because their food is good, but I will not be ordering from them again because of this experience. There are plenty of other good places in the area to get a pizza and sub. I’m wondering what they are going to do with the pasta. Hopefully they are not planning on giving it to someone else after it has been sitting in my house for forty minutes and...
Read moreI’ve enjoyed their food for decades. But that has come to a stop. Recently Purchased a sub, bag of chips, and a drink. Received my Credit Card statement 3 weeks later with a charge of $106.65. The girl who took my order initially needed some guidance on how to ring in the order and was helped from another employee from a distance. Went back 3 times to have this taken care of and showed them my credit card statement. The 3rd visit to the shop, Teagan even saw the purchase I made on the day I placed the order. All I was asking was for this to be taken care of and I was very nice about it. Now they claimed my CC was used for an online order that was placed by someone else. “We will look into it and call the other customer to see if they paid for their online order.” 3 visits in to clear this and all I get was….”We will look into this and get back to you.” Then I get a call an hour later saying that the owner says there is nothing they can do. Even after Teagan sees the order that I placed. A resident for 24 years and nearly 200 visits to order food and this is how they treat customers? “Nothing we can do?” “You can call your credit card company.” Seriously? “It’s too late to reverse the charge anyways.” Wow. What a joke. Bad business owner. I will be getting my...
