From childhood memories to present-day experiences, Nardis restaurant in Long Beach Island, NJ, has been a constant beacon of joy and delight. Nestled in the heart of Beach Haven, this restaurant has been a cherished part of our family tradition for as long as I can remember.
Nardis is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. The nightly live music is a standout feature, with a variety of bands gracing the stage. Whether it's the off-season with performances every Friday and Saturday, or the bustling summer season with live music every night, there's always a vibrant atmosphere that keeps you tapping your feet.
The food at Nardis is nothing short of amazing. Their menu caters to all, from the most ardent seafood lovers to those of us who prefer other delicacies. Each dish is prepared with care and served with a side of warm hospitality, making every meal a memorable one.
But what sets Nardis apart is their unique Nardi's Bus service. Available for those aged 21 and over, this late-night ride service is a thoughtful and convenient alternative to Uber. It's just another testament to Nardis' commitment to ensuring their patrons have a fantastic time, from the moment they step in, to the moment they're safely dropped home.
Nardis Tavern is more than just a restaurant; it's a cornerstone of Long Beach Island, a place where memories are made, and good times are always on the menu. If you haven't visited yet, you're missing out on a quintessential LBI experience. Five stars aren't enough to...
Read moreHorrible experience at this dump. My wife and I walked in hoping to have a couple drinks, some bar food and listen to some live music. I attempted to order my favorite beer, which I was told they had, to then be told they didn’t. When I glanced into the half empty beer fridge behind the bar I asked for a different beer only to be told that the one I was staring at was the last one they had. I then realized that thier stock of beers and the ones they serve are pulled from the cases of packaged goods which was also half empty. I was told the reason they were out of most beers was because of the St. Patty’s Day celebration but checking their website this party doesn’t occur until the 17th...the handwriting was on the wall when the female bartender had to text the “chef” from her personal phone to see if the meal orders she put in were being cooked. My wife and I ordered the sampler appetizer which consisted of 2 chicken fingers, soggy jalapeño poppers, tasteless mozzarella sticks, burnt onion rings and boneless buffalo wings that were so hot they would melt your lips. This all the while 2 guys, seemingly picked from the “crowd” strummed guitars and destroyed some classic songs in a glorified karaoke session. We paid our bill, ordered a pizza from Fusaro’s and went home. Will...
Read moreBeen going to LBI with the family for a few years now. We've ordered from Nardi's many times, but only ever stuck to pizza and wings.
After going to sit down at Nardis for the first time, I think we'll just order and pick up and just stick to pizza and wings.
The server made the experience extremely awkward. My 14 y/o niece, after spending the day at the beach, really just wanted some Mac and cheese. The waiter "simply just couldn't do that because it was on the kid's menu" - after a few minutes he made the experience even more awkward by telling my 14 y/o niece that he was going to upcharge her $4 because she was ordering off the kids menu. It ended up just being Kraft Mac n cheese. 😔
I would say that set the tone for the night, but it didn't. We made the mistake of not sticking to pizza and wings. I got the Ahi tuna steak salad and my wife also got a salad. While the tuna was encrusted - it was only cooked on one side (where it would normally be seared on both sides and slightly raw in the middle - it was seared on one side and the whole other half was raw).
Awkward night - made the best of it. The pizza and wings are good. We'll most likely order pizza and wings and pick it up to...
