OMGGGG!!!!!! SOOOOOO GOOOOODDDD!!!!! We visited today, Sunday, and it was absolutely amazing. There was about a 30-minute wait, which we didn't mind, but trust me, the food is worth the wait. The ONLY complaint I have is that the torilla the shrimp tacos came on wasn't the best, but I just ate everything else besides the tortilla.
Okay, so I ordered the oysters, and they were too good. They came with this friend bread that had this sauce and cheese on top, and it was just amazing. The oysters were cooked perfectly, and they were just too good. I also ordered the shrimp tacos. I'm a consistency person, and I didn't like the consistency of the tortilla. But the shrimp, the sauce, the onions, everything else on the tacos were absolutely delisshhhhh. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, and let me tell you, amazingggggg. The sauce they put on it was the best sauce I've ever had. That's the best bowl of shrimp and grits I've ever had. He also had gumbo, and the gumbo was fantastic!!!!! My friends ordered one of the omelets, the seaside scrambler, and French toast, and they all said it was absolutely delicious. So no matter what you pick, you can't go wrong. The Irish coffee and the old fashion were absolutely to die for!!!!
We sat outside on the patio, and it has the option of being enclosed. It was nice being able to look out on the beach and just enjoy the day and the company.
The service was top tier. Janae was absolutely amazing! She was kind, personable, and knowledgeable, and her vibe was just amazing. You could tell she was busy, but she still checked on you and made sure you were okay and that you had everything you needed.
All in all, 10/10, definitely recommend!!! I can't wait to come back for another Sunday...

Just WOW!!! It was wonderful reconnecting with Jami, who just exudes hospitality in the most positive and energetic of ways!
I had already eaten a late lunch and planned to have a drink at the bar, but I ended up having the most delicious assortment of oysters, so full of shrimp, spinach, and garlic butter that one could easily forget there was also a delicious oyster there to enjoy!
Their Happy Hour was incredible as well! I was thrilled to meet one of the bartenders Matt who crafted a delicious and refreshing Hurricane! There truly is an assortment of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines for everyone’s tastes!
I sat at the end of the bar and also got to their oyster shucker Dillon! He’s such an amiable young man, that by the time I was ready to leave, I had made several new friends!
I can’t wait to come back for their brunch, as well as their shrimp & grits, one of their pasta dishes, a burger, a fresh catch, and some of their fresh oysters!
I love this local business so much and plan to become a regular for sure!
Much love to Jami, Matt, Dillon, and the rest of their staff for a most...
Read moreI have lived in Long Beach for 10 yrs now and since this place opened....my wife and I have talked about giving it a try....Last night...we did. My only regret is that it took so long to make the choice to try it......DO NOT LET THE PLAIN BUILDING FOOL YOU...this place is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in MANY years. It is really attractively designed in the inside, the staff are well trained and professional from the hostess to our server Brie (who was AWESOME BTW)....the food was absolutely wonderful as well as the atmosphere. Cannot say enough good things about this place....it will be a regular visit for us moving forward....I spoke to the mgr (and when I asked for him....boom he was there)...he was also very kind, professional and thanked us for coming. DO YOUSELF A HUGE FAVOR...ignore the plain facade of beige building on stilts and go inside...you'll find a beautifully designed interior, with well trained and very helpful staff with GREAT SERVICE and ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FOOD.....Ask for Brie...she's great and enjoy a night...
