My wife took her jade bracelet in to have a chain repaired which I paid about 3000 dollars for in San Francisco 3 years ago about a month later she went to see if it was done and he had broken it in 3 pices and wouldn't call and tell her. So he said he would find her another one to replace it and 6 months later she went back to find out he did find one but he wouldn't pay the price. So he offered her 150 and he would keep the bracelet. So she said she just wanted the broken one back for sentimental reasons. This is to show you just because there local doesn't mean there any good. I would recommend going to a real jewelry store to have your stuff repaired if you really care about it. They are insured for these things most people in these small junky shops are crooks and you should use only reputable shops. Do NOT take your jewelry here for repair unless you want it in worse condition, and to get charged way too much. They completely ruined my beautiful antique ring. Somehow almost bleached the silver, and scratched my stone. Also they put two new prongs that I didn't ask for,They don't even match the other two original prongs, and they're crooked. I paid $150 for this monstrosity. Then I took it to a real jeweler who was flabbergasted by the terrible job this place did. Mind you. ..it took them 2 months to ruin my ring. After reading some of the outher reviews and my own past experiences I have came to beleve if you enter a business looking for a bad experience you will succeed. This little shop is great nice selection and prices are as you would expect . As for the service the owner flagged us down in the parking lot after we had left her shop and visited the antique store next door and gave us some fresh oranges off her tree.
