What made this a 5 start today, was the fact that Robert and his wife came out to the table to make sure I enjoyed my food. Now at first I wasn't going to say anything because my food wasn't so tasty the beef ribs where kinda chard and the brisket was barely warm. After I saw everybody else plate come out I see the perfect smoked ring on all their meat, I thought to myself sonsometh was obviously wrong with my plate. In my head I thought to my self, "well I guess I made a bad stop while in town this go round". so instead of complaining I'll just write a bad review and not patronize here again. Mr and Mrs Roberts had no idea what my next step was when I walked out that door. They just knew that they didn't want me to walk out unhappy and with a bad experience. Immediately Mrs Earl snatched up my plate and made me a fresh one. When I got it to the car I opened up my "plate to go" she had fixed me and it shinned like gold. The ribs looked perfectly smoked. I had to taste it while it was hot so I grabbed a few bites while it was hot. I can say it was 100% better. I will be back and I hope you'll check them out because they are wonderful caring people and just their smile and genuine concern means a lot. If you are not happy don't be mean about it just let them know they will fix it. "Be kind unto other as you would have them be unto...
Read moreI stopped in today, starving. I had the big bone beef rib dinner with banana cream pie. They topped it with their spicy bbq sauce. No joke, some of the best food I've had in my life.
The bbq was perfect. Not too smokey, no creosote flavor that you often get at bbq places. Not quite fall off the bone, which is good in my opinion. once it falls off the bone it's been penetrated too deep with smoke for my taste. The spicy bbq sauce was 99 out of 100. So good in fact, I got a 12 ounce container to go. Coleslaw was killer. And then comes the dessert.
Banana cream pie. This is my favorite dessert, I've probably had it at 100 restaurants over the years. Hands down, the best desert, possibly the best dish I've ever had. No joke, if you go there and order it and dont think its the best pie you've ever had, message me and I'll give you a hundred bucks. I bought 4 more pies to go. They are served in individual portions.
All the staff was cool. The owner was a really nice man, came out and shook my hand. I appreciate that old fashioned service alot. I'm a small business owner as well and practice the same actions at my shops.
Cheers to the owner and staff. This is a good place...
Read moreThis place is so wonderful. When you want that home BBQ'd taste but don't feel like pulling out the grill and messing up your own kitchen, this is the place for you. The food is absolutely fabulous. Have to try the brisket and rib tips !!! The bbq beans are delicious as well. If you like banana pudding, you will love Robert Earl's. I don't care too much for banana pudding but theirs is different in a fantastic way. I actually ate this banana pudding. I LOVE peach cobbler and have yet to try theirs. I guess everyone loves theirs because every time I go it's always sold out. This place is really close to my heart because I went there with a huge last minute order and Robert Earl and his wonderful wife Tanya came through for us. I needed a catering order for a Celebration of Life. We discussed our options and they put us together a nice order that fit our budget. Not only did they fulfill my order and meet my requested accommodations, they showed genuine love for our family and event. No level of customer service could ever top that. They treated us, strangers, like family. For that I will be forever grateful and they will always be ...
