This restaurant is the kind of restaurant that you wish you could love. The outside looks like a mirage in the middle of a heavy industrial area. Entering the restaurant is a beautiful scenery if you look above. Giving you old school mexican "coco" vibes for my disney lovers. We were seated promptly. I think my party weren't even fully seated when chips and salsa were already on our table. Like stated previously very very prompt service. So prompt that they were already trying to take our orders before we even had menus. A heads up as there are no QR codes for my covid safe peeps they do offer outdoor dining though so...that's a plus. Anyways, back to the ordering...we had about 4 different servers coming to us within at least 5 min trying to take our order. At first I was a bit irritated. As I'd like to see what y'all got to offer first. One of the waiters approached us to let us know that a big party was coming if it was ok for them to be seated next to us or if we wanted to scoot over. A++ for even asking us and taking our comfort into consideration. We scooted over no biggy. We finally placed our order and saw that they kept asking us because they wanted our order in before the big party ordered. Again, very well executed👌🏼. The plates are huge! Trust you get your money's worth no doubt. However, the food was not that great. This restaurant experience really was a roller coaster ride as they did splendid but then forgot something I ordered and charged me for it. Of course they were kind to return my money. This place gives me mixed emotions. Will not be returning personally. But wish this business nothing...
Read moreThis is the hidden gem in Long Beach that nobody is talking about. Their food is better than other places that serve Birria in the area. Basically they're the only Birreria in the area because that's what they mainly serve. The flavor of the Birria was next to being unmatchable to anyone. The service is very good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They welcome you with showing you around the place. It makes you feel like you're being taken to a house in Mexico or a house in New Mexico with their pueblo style themed building from the inside and outside. They have a really cool mini courtyard inside that also doubles as an air foyer which has a really cool breeze! Perfect for those who prefer a semi outdoor private experience. They have a lounge as well that feels like a livingroom when you walk in. The bar area is very clean and spotless! Y'all go there and show...
Read moreTotal hidden gem! Lunch specials on the back of the menu for $15. Large filling portions served on a huge plate, more like a platter. I got the carne asada burrito. They offered it served wet for an extra $1. I like mine dry. Meal came with salad, guacamole, sour cream, rice, and a cup of tortilla soup. I got full off the tortilla chips and house salsa and my cup of soup. Ended packing most of my meal.
Lunch was not busy and only 5 minutes from downtown Long Beach. Adequate parking on the street and their private lot.
Today there was a guitarist who serenaded our group. He didn't come with the restaurant, and just happened to be there that day....
