Dunkin' — Restaurant in Long Grove

Went inside to order two donuts and an iced tea. No one providing service at the counter inside (they seem to only care about the drive thru) so was forced to use the order kiosk to place my order. Apparently there is a huge disconnect with the kiosk process as it allows you to order (and pay for items) that are out of stock (they no longer had the two donuts we wanted available). We were provided the iced tea but when asking about the donuts we were provided very poor options (they would not work due to food allergy) so I requested a refund for the donuts. I was then told “no” we cannot do that. I was floored. If you cannot provide the product that I paid for, you cannot charge for it. I was adamant that since they were not available to confirm what was available and the only option was the kiosk, it was their issue to correct the order. Finally, I received some type of cash refund, but who know if it really was the correct amount as he shoved the change towards me that came from the tip jar. I was Ok with items being sold out, but it is NOT acceptable to tell a customer that they will be refunded their money when they cannot provide...

I tend to be very generous with my reviews, but I cannot with my first experience at this location. The gentleman working the counter was extremely rude. I only ordered an iced coffee, which admittedly I do like in a particular way, and he stared at me with a look of complete distain as I ordered it. I asked him, due to his very blank stare, if he could complete the order the way I requested and he mumbled yes. I paid and waited at the counter. I requested easy ice and he filled the cup to the top with ice. I asked if he could get rid of some ice, he again mumbled yes, and then completed my order without discarding any of the excess ice. I try not to sweat the small stuff, but I couldn't let his rudeness and complete lack of customer service go ignored. Maybe the next visit, if I am desperate, will be...

Visited on 10/14/2020 about 9:45 AM Went inside to get doughnuts / use the restroom.

Went into the restroom and was shocked there was ZERO rolls of toilet paper in a machine which could take 3 to 4 rolls at a time. ZERO soap in the bathroom. ZERO paper towel ( They had a hand dryer) Went out to order doughnuts, took awhile for anyone to even acknowledge my existence in the lobby. I ordered 6 Doughnuts then told the lady taking my order of the issues, she said she will let the proper people know... in a tone where it seemed she either heard that before or just didn't care. Ate two doughnuts then realized if there is no soap in the restrooms how sanitary is the location... threw out the remaining doughnuts to wildlife...
