My recent visit to Rigo's Finest Latin Grill was nothing short of spectacular, a true testament to the exquisite flavors and vibrant culture of South Latin cuisine. Upon arrival, the ambiance immediately set the tone for an authentic dining experience, with the restaurant bustling with energy and a palpable anticipation in the air. Despite the crowd and a minimum wait time of 20 minutes, the decision to dine here felt rewarding from the moment we took our seats at the bar.
The highlight of our visit was the Pirrillada de Carne, a dish that masterfully showcases a variety of meats, each grilled to absolute perfection. Served in two distinct parts, the presentation was as impressive as the taste. The meats - chicken, ribs, steak, sausage, and potatoes - were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavors that spoke of meticulous marination and grilling expertise. Accompanying the meats on a foil-wrapped tray was an array of sides including chile frito, green onion, small potato rounds, and elote, each adding its unique texture and flavor to the ensemble.
The second part of the meal, served on a beautifully crafted wooden platter, featured the family's traditional rice and beans recipe. This side dish was not merely an accompaniment but a standout on its own, offering a comforting and delicious complement to the grilled meats.
The service, led by Jose and Karina at the bar, was impeccable. Despite the restaurant being packed, their attentiveness and efficiency made our dining experience feel personalized and well cared for. It's worth noting that the meal is designed to serve two, making it a perfect choice for sharing on a special night out.
In conclusion, Rigo's Finest Latin Grill delivers an unforgettable culinary journey through its dedication to authentic South Latin flavors, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a connoisseur of Latin cuisine or exploring these flavors for the first time, Rigo's offers a dining experience that is sure to impress and leave you...
Read moreIt wasn't very busy. It seemed like the server was having trouble tending to our tables needs. We kept having to flag him down to get something. We sat down in the bar area at first, then realized our coworker showed up with her girlfriend which wasn't 21. So we asked to get sat in the dining area. They accommodated us nicely. When we ordered drinks in the bar area before we moved the server didn't know much about the beer that was on tap.
This was a coworker's get together. Drinks, appetizers and some of us ordered entrees.
I ordered the chimichanga and asked for it to be fried extra crispy. It was fried extra but because they folded the tortilla in so much there was a lot of un-fried tortilla inside it. It has a square and flat appearance. The flavor was good. It came with a ground beef taco. It was good but nothing stood out here. I also had the Quesabirria. Which is like a quesadilla with shredded beef inside. It comes with a broth that is pretty good. A friend ordered the Elote. It's corn, spices mayo, lime juice and queso fresco. She liked it. She also had the fried ice cream. It comes with 3 separate ice cream balls one with plain rice cereal coating, another has cocoa rice cereal coating and the third with fruity rice cereal coating. It's served with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce. She liked it. Another ordered coconut shrimp. She said it was tender and perfectly cooked shrimp and coated with a lot of crispy coconut. She also had the bacon wrapped shrimp. It's served with melted cheese on top and a bed of sauteed onions and mushrooms. She liked this one as well. I had the Blue Moon beer on tap. The rest ordered: 2 chocolate Martinis, 2 Blue Oysters cocktail which was served in a Conch shaped container and a Pina colada (the grande sized one) They all liked their drinks. My tab was $41.08. Kind of spendy considering I only had an appetizer, entree and a beer. I posted a pic of my check...
