My wife and I stopped in after a local high school football game to grab a bite to eat as we had heard positive things about the food from friends. Sadly, we wouldn’t find out. Upon entering the restaurant there were two young girls were manning the front desk. The two began bickering about which one’s turn it was to seat customers (there were only five tables occupied) and my told the girls “no need to fight over us”. One of the girls finally took some menus and seated us. That would be the extent of the service we were to get. The girl who seated us went back to chatting with the other at the front desk. Waitresses (two, I believe) were in and out of the kitchen and through the dining room. Ten minutes later and we hadn’t been so much as offered a glass of water. I told my wife that I was done and we were leaving. I took my menu and tossed it down on the front desk and told the chatty young ladies we were going to another restaurant that we would be going to another restaurant that would actually be interested in actually serving their guests. My wife advised me outside that a waitress had said something to the “(non)hostesses” about not telling her that they had seated someone in her section. Five occupied tables in the restaurant and the waitress couldn’t tell that someone was sitting in her section. That speaks volumes about the standards of service that could have been expected. A phone call for the manager and an email went unanswered after more than two weeks. I held off writing a review just to give the management a chance to respond. Their lack of interest in responding tells me that customers are not truly valued in this establishment. This restaurant has the distinction of having been only the second business that I have ever encountered with such poor service. Date of visit:...
Read moreThree stars means an overall pleasant experience with a little room for improvement. I eat here a lot because the prices are reasonable and they have good beer, but nothing here will rock your world. The menu and the quality is pretty much what you would expect from a sports bar kind of place. The burger was reassuring and familiar, but nobody asked me how I wanted it cooked, and it was a bit more rare than I wanted. The pierogi, now a regular on the chalkboard specials menu instead of a standard menu item, were definitely not what I expected or wanted. I wanted the usual treatment, sauteed in butter with bacon, onions, and sour cream, but it was a Mediterranean treatment with sauteed spinach, loads of garlic, and roasted red peppers (you can actually tell that they came from a jar). And about a cup of butter, but as a sauce for boiled pierogi, not a saute vehicle. Won't be getting that again. The prime rib Thursday special is quite good though, nice and tender and properly cooked to order the stateliner sandwich is quite good as well. Overall, it's best to find a favorite and stick to it. Best bargain ever, the Tuesday special, tacos, especially the chicken ones. And the beer list is good. Service is a bit hit or miss. Some servers make you ask for salt, pepper and even cutlery while others bring it to you while your food is cooking. Depends on when you go. I'll keep going because it's affordable and convenient, but I wouldn't bring someone here to...

Well it's January and the temp outside is a balmy 19 degrees, well at that point I kinda knew what kind of night we were in for!! Yes it was front row the curtains were closed effectively keeping the cold air off of us.. Well, Nobody ever came over to ask us for drinks,I had tried numerous times (and yes she looked right ..So finally I went up to the bar and (looking at the bartender) I said in a polite way can I get a beer?? Now at this point and time there might have been 10 to 15 people in the entire restaurant!! Again she looks right at .e and ignored me!! So I turned to one of the patrons and said "Am I invisible??? At that point the bartender with a real snotty attitude says "may I help you?? Well to make a long story short we're NEVER going back to this poor excuse of a...
