Wow, if you like spicy chicken this is the place! They only have sliders or tenders. That is probably why their service can be so fast. Tigran at the front was friendly and helpful. I love spicy but decided not to go crazy the first time here. We got the medium spiced sliders and one medium spicy tender and one hot tender. BTW, there are 2 heat levels above hot. 🔥 The chicken had great flavor and the hot was really, surprisingly, hot. I shared 1/2 of the hot tender and it kicked us. So I warn you, this place is great but don't go too hot too fast. My friend and I were looking for a late night place to dine in. We arrived about half an hour before close. They fry and season chicken to order so it does take a little while. My friend got "hot" and I got "very hot" ("call 911"). They are not messing around. I love heat but this was painful and there's still another level above it! Recommend you try medium if its your first time. Everything besides the chicken (butter rice and Cole slaw) in my #4 combo was bland. Would've been a four star experience but they kicked us out 15 minutes before close so they wouldn't have to clean the dining room. We didn't plan on making a mess. The place was jumpin'. This is the hottest chicken I have yet to try in LA! I have to confess, I couldn't finish the Hot (two more heat levels above that!) Going to try medium next time, making this the only hot chicken place I know about where that's the case.

Yeah, there's other chains that make you sign a waiver for their top heat. I've tried most with a Valley location, and these other places' top heat doesn't touch this one just above the middle at Angry Chickz.

It's not all heat though. The dry rub adds just the right texture, the chicken is cooked beautifully with tender insides and crisp outsides. A complex mix of flavors support the fiery burn. I will be going back...
