Blue Burro Burritos & Cantina Torrance — Restaurant in Los Angeles

So once again the wifey brings me here to check out their taquitos topped with carne asada, grilled shrimp, and pico de gallo with crema. Which was amazing and 3 mini cups of their salsas. 1. Habanero 2. Chilé Verdé Chipotlé Me I'm not a big fan of the Chipotlé so put the other two on my taquitos.

Our daughter got their Adobada Quesadilla.

And to top off things the wifey got one of their Peach 🍑 Margaritas which was quite tasty and refreshing.

Their service was good and accommodating, the restaurant was clean, organized, and the interior design interesting.

I definitely would like to return to try more items on the menu.

Alright we came back and brought a friend about a month later and he really enjoyed it here. We watched the Dodger game against the Arizona Diamond backs and Blue 💙🔵 won!

So of course that made his experience even better here. The other patrons were watching and cheering as well as we were.

I ended up ordering their Surf & Turf salad which was amazing and better adding their habanero sauce with it. He got their 3 taco 🌮, Modelo on tap, then after the game he got their blue horchata milkshake.

Blue Burro Burritos & Cantina just opened up in Torrance. It's conveniently located right next door to my home. I was excited that we finally had a new restaurant close by. I was eagerly waiting for them to open as I saw the process of their remodeling and getting ready. So when the day finally arrived, hubby and I went to check it out.

When we arrived, it was a cute indoor-outdoor setup with plenty of seating. They have a menu that offers burritos, taquitos, tacos, salads, fries, shakes and margaritas. We ordered and were given a number and we sat at a table. Unfortunately, we were waiting for almost 20 minutes. This was their first official day so they might have been figuring out the kinks. But it still left a bad first impression, which we know, a first impression is everything. When our food finally arrived, we immediately started chowing down. My taquitos were actually really yummy. The margarita was surprisingly delicious I even got a second one.

Came here and ordered the fancy taquitos with the load of everything on top, a large drink and a carrot cake = almost $30 bucks! With all the hype of this place and the cost of what I paid for this food, I REALLY was expecting much much more out of my experience. I'm sad to say that the taquitos are extremely tiny and for the cost you pay for them to load the top you could go down the street to Tacos Sinelo and get much much more food. They should at least make bigger taquitos or add more for the price you pay for them! The taste and quality of the food was good and so was the salsas. I really think should invest in a salsa bar so customers can help themselves or show an image with details of their salsa options so the customers see what they have to offer.
