Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Never been to this location, but I love me some Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Was in the area and my baby was asleep in the car. Seen they had a drive thru and felt like it was meant to be lol. Anyways I get to the speaker box, asked the guy if they had the island fire chicken (because I didn't see it on their menu of available proteins) he said, "yea but if its not ready by the time you get up here you'll have to come in and get it" I told him my child is asleep in the car and what he just said defeats the whole purpose of a drive thru business smh His response was, "well we don't have time to be looking around for vehicles to bring it to" I didn't say nothing back at that point, because Im not going to go back and forth with an unprofessional moron. I just put my car in reverse and waited while all the cars had to back up to let me out. If you're that jerk and reading this... You were very unprofessional and an idiot to think I would leave my child in the car unattended to go inside to get food (after going through a drive thru 🤦🏽‍♀️) because you were too lazy to do your job. Do better little guy🙄 but FYI everyone Ono Hawaiian BBQ is still bomb, just try another location, because the energy at this one is negative....

My boyfriend and I went to this location and ordered at 0711pm and 30mins later an employee came up to us and told us that the kind of fish that my bf ordered is not available.They offered another kind of fish plate which they said they will not charge for if there’s a difference.My bf agreed but 15 minutes later we still haven’t got our order,so we ended up just getting a refund and the cashier said “you guys didn’t get your order yet?Are u guys serious”.We are just so upset that we just asked for a refund.They tried to compensate us with the food free of charge and the refund but we didn’t want to wait anymore.This is not acceptable.We have wasted valuable time and we just starved waiting for the food that was not coming. The photo of the receipt was when we got our refund. They are trying to compensate with giving us the food that we ordered free of charge but we didn’t want to wait longer than we already have waited for. We were at this store for 45 minutes and we didn’t...

As i hate posting this. Today. August 7 i purchase 3 orders. 2 number 1’s. And. 1 Chicken Katsu plate Shortly after we all started to feeling upset stomach . I though nothing of it. But later this evening we all had the Hurry to bathroom my dauther. Had vomiting . All orders had chicken and the regular steam veggies , something Was probably Spoil til this hours 10pm. We are still stuck to te toilet. I will call in tomorrow and complain about this. They need to be carful with chicken temperature. . I like this place. I like their service the location is nice. I had not experience This in the past . But that don't take away we got ill from this. We all had our out side meal from same place. And only outside meal...
