A true hidden gem in the Rustic Canyon area of Santa Monica close to the Malibu border. Absolutely delicious homemade Italian food with a great menu selection inside a quaint house type of setting. Tonight we dined inside, but they have outdoor seating right on the street as well which allows you to actually see the Pacific Ocean. Parking can be tricky in this area but we were able to find street parking a few blocks away but they do offer valet if needed. The tables are very close together so a private or intimate conversation may be, and was for us, difficult at times, but still the food alone is worth a visit.

Our server was very polite although the service speed was pretty slow in terms of drink refills, but our food did come out pretty quickly, even in the full house that they had this evening. I started off with the Bresaola, which is a personal favorite of mine, and I grew up eating. Usually, I order beef carpaccio in Italian restaurants so it was nice to see the change to Bresaola. It was delicious and I could’ve eaten two courses of it. For my entrée, I chose the Fettuccine Bolognese, because the fettuccine was homemade in-house, and I can honestly say the Bolognese sauce with it was absolutely fantastic. The portion size was perfect as well, not too big and not too small. Finally, I topped off the meal with a delicious cappuccino. Every bite and sip I had this evening was truly great and worth remembering.

I would highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of Italian food or is looking for a delicious out of the way intimate dinner with friends or family. It also is a killer date spot. It’s definitely on my short list of repeat restaurants and I will be...

Great dinner at Caffe Delfini - feels like a hidden gem or a local spot for the neighborhood. Not too crowded which is great during COVID and they have sidewalk/outdoor dining. Pastas were homemade noodles - perfect consistency and texture...for items that read simple on the menu, the tastes and quality def exceeded my expectation. Came here for a catch up dinner w my GF and after our first bite we did look at each other and said: "Wow, we'll def be back!" Highly recommend - I got their Tagliolini with Raddichio and my friend got the fettuccine bolognese - per our waiter both are very popular. House made Tiramisu is delish, light and a great way to cap off the meal. Reasonably priced. I'll be back - thanks much Caffe Delfini for a great meal! Parking can be tough around here and if you don't want to valet ($11), then you might need to circle around a few times to find a spot on the street. There's metered parking right outside but not...

I was recommended this restaurant from the Channel Road Inn (which is amazing & highly recommend) My daughter and I wanted a light dinner as we just arrived in California from the east coast! Not sure if it was the owner or not (man with an accent) was discouraged that my daughter only wanted an appetizer for her meal. He never came to see how our meal was...... My daughters Brusetta was amazing as was my Linguine Al Pesto. We also ordered dessert - Chocolate cake with vanilla gelato, (also amazing) When I asked for the check, the owner/server THREW our check on the table and did the same when giving back our change. He never communicate with us or thanked us!!! I am in the food industry (a server at a 5 star restaurant) I was appalled by the service we were given.... The food was delicious and amazing. But because the service was so poor I am giving...

This place boasts a fantastic atmosphere and is a landmark in West LA. I've visited a few times, mainly because it's a reliable choice for Italian cuisine. However, there was a notable incident during our last visit on New Year's Eve. We were recommended a special dish, white truffle raviolis, without being informed about its $140 price tag, which was a surprise we only discovered upon receiving the bill. While this experience has made us hesitant about returning, I'm reluctant to leave a too negative review based on this single occurrence, hence a 4 stars. However just ensure they communicate clearly their specials pricing.

Went to Caffe Delfini for dinner with my friend who was in town visiting. I am celiac so was happy to find out there was a lot of gluten free options on the menu and the staff was very accommodating to ensure I had a great meal and experience! We got the beet salad as a starter and split pesto pasta and carbonara as our mains, everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was so kind! We chose not to get dessert but they brought over gluten free cookies complementary with our check and they were really good! Overall would come back to Caffe Delfini!
