I don't usually write reviews, but after two rude encounters with staff here, I felt compelled. I just moved to Topanga and was excited to find a cute local coffee stop on my way to work. Unfortunately, the young staff working here are consistently rude.
On my first visit, one heavy-set young girl was extremely unpleasant. She aggressively told me I couldn't park where I had, then immediately followed it up with, "We're not open anyway, the power's out." I can't stress enough how unnecessarily rude and unprofessional her tone was.
On yet another visit, when my order was made incorrectly and I politely mentioned that my drink was supposed to be iced, a different staff member became visibly annoyed and scolded me--as if it were my fault her coworker wrote it wrong on the cup.
The young staff here need to learn how to speak to customers with professionalism and kindness. Starting my mornings with rude interactions over a simple cup of coffee is not how I want to begin my day, and I won't be making this my daily...

The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, and has a genuine warmth to them that makes you want to return.
We went with the iced oat latte and hot mocha. For non-dairy options they have both oat and almond milk. My only wish would be that they’d also work with a local specialty coffee roaster that fits their local Los Angeles vibe.
