Well. Today is the last time I will order from this place. The 18 years old son of the owner, David, racially profiled me and my son. Used profanity in front of his father, my son and other clients directed towards me. He made a mistake on my phone order and forgot the rice. I sent my son back to ask for the rice. He sent my son out and said it's under the pita bread. I looked under the said bread and sent my son back to say that it's not under anything. He sent my son out again asking for the entire to-go container to verify that we are not lying about the 50 cents worth of rice. I now went in to speak with them. He started his profanity and asked me to leave. He said f you and f'ing leave the store. I then asked for my money back and returned the food. Customer service is very important in any business but especially in the restaurant business. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Say sorry and give a side of rice and make a client happy. He made comments about my age during his rant of profanity as well. Racism and ageism has no place in...
Read moreOk so......Tried the Lula and chicken kabob plate. The good...the chicken was excellent. The hummus was good. They had Jalapenos too. The rice was fluffy but no flavor. Cardamon might give a bit of natural flavor.
The bad the Koubideh was overcooked and mad dry and bland. The portions were dumb small. If I pay $20 to eat here I'll just be hungry again in an hour or so. Would I come back? Yes for the chicken but at this price point. I would not come back because I cant get full. In these days and times people cannot afford to pay $20-$30 plus dollars and still be hungry. Its really like kids portions. I have a few places that I can spend $20 bucks and be full all day. I'd have to spend atleast $50 bucks to get full here. But if the portions were larger. I could easily come back for the chicken kabob alone. I'm cool on the Koubideh though. Two stars for the Chicken Kabob whatever they are doing they...
Read moreOrdered a combination plate and was only given the chicken, my plate was supposed to include a beef skewer. I explained the situation to the cashier and was told I had to speak to the manager if I wanted my order corrected. The manager made the excuse that when you order from the Uber Eats app you have to call in the combination plate!! My request was very simple please include a beef skewer with my shawarma since it was missing on my last order. The owner is clearly a penny pincher who takes no responsibility for order mistakes. I will not be going back here. The food is mediocre anyway was hoping the shawarma plate would be better than the chicken, which was dark meat and rubbery instead of the white meat skewers other Middle Eastern restaurants serve. The rice on my second order was mushy and the hummus...
