Corn N' Crab — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Updated : Second time for me here. Took my BFF here for her first time trying this place out.

We ordered 2 bags of each 1 pound of whole shrimps with authentic Cajun flavor in mild spicy level and lemon pepper in spicy. They were both not spicy (not to our level of spiciness).

The flavors on both were so good and rich! We both think this place is UNDERRATED! (better than the place where you had to sit and wait for your turn to be seated & order, then eat (you guess which place I mean?? LOL) with less crowd and no waiting to be seated.

The baggies came out with a lot of sauce the way we liked it! Price wise, it's somewhat similar. The place is clean.. organized and well maintained. The shrimps looked bigger and fresher, too!

My BFF was impressed with this place. 🤭🤭

My first time here, I dined alone. Ordered 1/2 pound of aithentic cajun whole shrimps and Thai Ice Tea with boba (overly sweetened 😭)

I'd give this place more visits to try other flavors of their shrimps. I'm not really into crabs or mussels/clams etc. So I couldn't comment or tell you about those dishes!

Service was great by the waitress; Madison. She was relaxed, friendly and made me feel welcomed and appreciated.

There were plenty of parking spaces. It shared the large parking lot with Domino's pizza, an Asian market, CVS etc. So it is very convenient! Minus the needing to check in and then wait around to be called when there is a table available for us!

I recommend for seafood lovers to check this place out, at least once so you can have other options that may be closer to your home...

A little shock it’s in a plaza would be better in a different building cute decor very clean small though went on Mother’s Day .. took about 20 minutes in a car called ahead to see if it was packed was told no half tables are available..

Arrived within an hour no one greeted us sign the sheet waited inside 5 minutes no greeting still proceeded outside 35 minutes later we got a seat after my daughters went in repeatedly ask how long the wait went from 15-20 minutes to almost 40 minutes waited outside someone finally came out and got us sat down it’s a small place need a seating area for customers , the waiter was kind attentive seemed overwhelmed but still attentive and courteous!!!

Ordered food price was reasonable food was tasty Cajun fries were toooo spicy to my liking told the waiter he replaced them with plain fries baby popcorn fried lobsters were delish only wish they had a lot of them (bigger Helping) .. other people in our party was satisfied one complaint the shrimp was chewy over cooked but they still ate it because it took us an hour and 20 minutes to get there and be seated,order and then eat ..

cons : long wait no seating area small not enough tables no one greeted us after 30 minutes .. pros: good food tasty hot free refill on drinks cold beer , water give you dish sauce can’t request more fresh lemons salt/pepper in small plastic cups and bibs for bags of seafood on a plastic table cloth only waited like 15-20 minutes for our food .. would I go again yes because the food is worth it it was a holiday so I looked past the wait and remained patient...

I had a pretty bad experience. 7/30/2021 They threw my food away and then picked it out of the trash and handed it back to me. Story below: I ordered a half pound of shrimp along with a pound of crab in the house sauce. The crab was wayyyyy too salty. I made sure to hold onto the food and called the manager the next day. Manager was very nice, she told me to come back they’ll remake my food and if I still was not pleased I will be refunded. When I came to have my food remade instead of them checking the bag first seeing the crab and shrimp was inside they threw my old food away and just remade the crab. MIND YOU I paid $13 for the half pound of shrimp. So when I went back in and told them I did not have my shrimp. They PICKED MY OLD BAG OF FOOD OUT OF THE TRASH AND HANDED IT BACK TO ME. The staff said they only got notice to replace my crab not my shrimp. So I paid for shrimp THEY THREW IN THE TRASH AND REFUSED TO REMAKE. It’s one thing To just hand me the shrimp back before putting it in the trash.. but you hand it to me AFTER? And refuse to remake it? And I PAID FOR IT?! Truly disrespectful! The crab was still salty I just didn’t have it in me to return and complain. I Will never visit this place again I’ve never had any place hand me food out of the trash. They literally threw...
