Dunkin' — Restaurant in Los Angeles

So this morning I went out of my way and went to dunkin … right , to get me that 5 dollar coffee with an Espresso shot cause I needed it , and it’s going to be a long hot day . So all I wanted was a black coffee large with a shot of espresso no milk no Sugar as I am a diabetic and I don’t like cream . Always make sure I tip a dollar or two dollars just to show that I’m grateful and that I appreciate people with the service jobs , because we were all there at one point in our lives let’s not forget where we come from and let’s be good to people. They’re young and that’s important that they feel appreciated. I get to the drive-through window after I specified black coffee no sugar no creamer and the lady at the window is a little bit in a hurry and kind rude, trying to get me out of the way and hands me my coffee and I figure she’s might just be having a bad morning . I gave her a couple bucks for a tip and took took my coffee & off I went. Come to find out they put milk in my coffee on my five dollar coffee . When all you had to do was leave it black and I believe she knew what she did , & no big deal if that was a mistake but for god sakes please correct it. Instead she was trying to get me out of there quick . That would’ve been an easy fix if it was in fact a mistake I kind of felt it was done on purpose and the sad thing about it is , that I actually tipped them , yea it’s all good man I just hope they realize this ain’t no way to treat a customer specially someone that’s nice enough to tip you. Tomorrow’s another day hopefully you’ll have enough chances to get it...

I'm new to this location & I didn't grow up with Dunkin. This location is very small, mostly for drive thru, it's right off the freeway. You have to come in through Anaheim and then exit Figueroa. It's a tight fit, but my large SUV fit just fine. I actually used the app 1st to place my order about 10 min before I arrived, & when using the app, you have to have money added to pay for the order in advanced. Once I arrived had to wait for 1 car ahead of me, came to order booth & was politely told to just pull forward to the service window. I believe in total wait, probably about just under 10 min. I was given a receipt despite receiving email confirmation of my paid order, the cashier was extremely polite & nice. As I left, there was half a dozen cars in the drive thru line, maybe I lucked out, but I ordered ahead expecting a wait giving myself time to arrive at my next destination. The food was good, coffee was good, and service excellent. I have to say that it is expensive, more than the "GOLDEN ARCHES" (despite them being pricey too). I would return but not often. The food could use some work for me to call it excellent. This is just my personal experience, I wish this location...

This location is by far the worst. Today 12/20/22 I tried ordering on doordash, this location wasn’t taking orders/closed @ 1730 that can’t be right. I head over there to the location drive thru was closed, so I see a note on a reflective cone at pick up window stating that the window closes @ 1800. It’s 1745.. As I approached the window & stood there a few minutes a young lady came to the window with a pizza plate. I asked if they were closed she said yes, that they’re having a party. I asked if I can speak w manager. Gloria the heavy set with the bad attitude who lack customer service, leadership skills & very unprofessional said “they’re close & having a Christmas party.” I’m like wow really so u turn off Doordash & drive thru on business hours for a party? “Yes ain’t that what your job do to celebrate, have a good day and slammed window shut!! This isn’t the 1st time I experienced a negative encounter with Gloria, she’s setting a bad example for her crew. Maybe Gloria felt happiest shoving pizza down her throat, instead of doing her job....
