El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I have to go here to pick up for my boss. Today was the last time though. Horrible service and overall experience. I agree with previous the review. I would rather eat out of a dumpster than have to go here again. The worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant, and consistently the worst. I have never had to do a chargeback on my card at a restaurant until today. I have such low expectations and yet you still disappoint every time. . Lost my office's business today.

I made an order online, payment went through, double checked it's the right location, yet somehow my order did not exist anywhere in the system. How is that possible? I paid $14 for two tiny pieces of anemic looking chicken and they can't even get that right. I have When I asked about, "oh yes coming" but after 30 minutes of waiting in the most cramped "waiting area" I have ever seen at any fast food place. Didn't even care to make my order. How can you order online, pay, and the order not exist at the location you sent it to?

Also, what genius thought that two screens being the ONLY way to order inside (no counter, no help, nobody out front) is a good idea when 90% if your customers either don't speak english or are 60+. It gets so hectic in there, with no area to wait. I come here because my boss makes me, otherwise this is by far the worst ran fast food chain in america. Can't wait for my chargeback to go through. Worst service, layout, management, owners in the country and I have seen a lot.

While I was there, half the orders came back with missing items. Just such a bad place I can't even begin to describe. Also don't comment bringing me to your website, everything you need to know is right here.

Over the past few years of living close and giving this place multiple chances, I think I've finally had enough today. Majority of the staff here are very rude (a couple specific people are nice) and will just decide to ignore you. Doesn't matter if you're being patient or polite, they will literally pretend like you don't exist while helping other customers they want to be friendly to. They will leave you waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes just to get a utensil or cilantro dressing they THEY forgot to include. This has happened more than a handful of times to me and my partner personally, normally I would just figure it's a stressful day. Also, it's always a mixed bag with the chicken. Sometimes it tastes fine, sometimes it tastes like a dirty grill, and sometimes it has an aftertaste of sewage? The taco stand in front of the rite aide at night is a much better choice for food here. Despite the convenience, if I ever feel like taking my chances again, it'll be a...

The EL POLLO LOCO in Sherman Oaks is the bomb!!! It's by far the VERY BEST CHICKEN I'VE HAD IN LA, AND I WILL ONLY GO TO THE SHERMAN OAKS LOCATION ON RIVERSIDE DR. because of the amazing quality of food and the incredibly kind staff ... ESPECIALLY ROSY THE MGR WHO GOES WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME EVERY TIME I GO THERE!!! I'VE KNOWN ROSY FOR A MILLION YEARS, AND SHE GIVES THE VERY BEST SERVICE WITH THE MOST YUMMY FOOD, WITH THE HUGEST SMILE....WHICH IS SO CONTAGIOUS!!!! When you want fresh chicken (like my Mom and Grandma used to make at home), and all of the other scrumptious food items they have to order (along w/ all of their salsas, guacamole, chips...and the cinnamon churros for dessert) ...GO TO EL POLLO LOCO IN SHERMAN OAKS, AND I PROMISE YOU, THAT ROSY WILL GIVE YOU THE FASTEST AND BEST SERVICE, AND SHE WILL PUT A HUGE SMILE ON YOUR FACE.. and tell Rosy that Kelly sent you (the girl w/ the white cat eye glasses) and I promise, you won't be sorry!!!! -...
