Sugar Babies Bake Shop — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Not anymore! Me and my best friend have been coming to this place for a few years now. We both have moved a considerable distance away but would still make it point to come here. Typically they are usually low in stock on product. I try to understand since it's a specialty bakery and all and likely make things in small batches. However, after going in yesterday in the mid afternoon they barely had anything! You pay $2 for 1 mini cupcake. Fine take my money but all they had was hardly an assortment of flavors. There were only salty caramel (no thanks) 1 lousey birthday cake mini with sprinkles, a few pancakes with bacon topping (no thanks) and the peanut butter one with Reese's toppings. Only 2 out in the display case. Having put the effort for the drive I asked if they had more in the back to at least walk out with a four pack. It turns out that they had a few more of that flavor, at least. But why can't they have more stock on hand or fully stock the case? With what they do have on hand? Lack of initiative from the sales person, I think. The case was so unappealing and pretty much empty. Not interest in coming here anymore...

I was invited to this bakeshop by yelp. This cute hidden gem is in the heart of Sherman Oaks. The shop is located in a shopping center so it's a bit hard to see. As soon as you walk in you can't help smell the aroma in the air of these magnificent sugar treats.

Because of the yelp event, they graciously gifted me a set of 4 adorable and tasty cupcakes. These are the flavors I selected. Chocolate lover box flavors -All my heart ❤️ -Nutty butter -Black and white -Hazelnut mocha

On my way home my entire car smelled so amazing. I couldn't wait to get home and try them with my wife. We ate all the cupcakes and omg they taste as good as they look. We will be returning on the weekend to get some very funny and cute cookies. I am glad we found this place now we know where to get our sweet fix. Thank you, sugar...

I have ordered from Sugar Babies Bake Shop quite a few times for different office celebrations. Everyone loves the cupcakes, and we appreciate the mini sizes. We also have a few GF and vegan folks, so it's nice that there's a place that can accommodate those restrictions. I had an idea for a custom cake for a birthday celebration, and this bakery took my ideas, made them 1000x better, and made a cake that exceeded my wildest imagination! Visually, it was perfect. Everyone stopped to ooh and ahh over the cake— we hadn't had anything like it before. Our e-team couldn't believe it, C-suite thought it was beautiful, and the CEO was so proud of it! Taste wise, the cake couldn't have been better!! I appreciated the instruction on the box of when to take the cake out of the fridge so that way everyone could enjoy it the way it should be. I will continue to order form Sugar Babies Bake Shop, and I could not recommend...
