El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Sooooo disappointed! Think twice before ypu spend yoir money here and double check your food before you leave, especially drive thru. Was craving a tostada salad and I like El Pollo Loco's, so I went there. Used the drive thru, I ordered a double chicken tostada, extra sour cream and a drink and paid almost $15 for it. 20 minutes later, when I arrived to my destination, I was so disappointed with my food! Majority of the chicken were hard and dry! They look like chicken from yesterday warmed up, cut up and left out in the sun for me to come and take home to eat! I called the restaurant, spoke with Elvida the manager, she sounded nice, but very distant.....make my complain about the food and how I feel that they do this on purpose to ppl I'm the drive thru because there is a good chance they won't be coming back if something is wrong! All she could offered was, sorry about your food, you can come back and exchange it. So that means, I waste my gas just to go back for an exchange? No thank you! Then she says, come back anytime, ask for me and we'll do a refund and a new salad.....I'm not too sure about going back there for the food. But as for their drive thru.....she didn't say anything about it...so I guess this is how things are...

Poor customer service. I usually stop at this location for dinner at least once or twice a week because it's the only one on my way home, but they need to check their orders before handing them to the customers. I have had to return to them because my orders have not been filled adequately. One time they "fixed the order" and gave me some free tacos to make up and I got the order and drove home, didn't check it thinking it was right since I had to go back and tell them it was wrong. When we get home we noticed that again the order had not been filled correctly. I was so mad called several times to complain and no answer. Another time I asked can you please make sure my order is correct and they said yes. What was my surprise? Again! Wrong items! I could say that or of 10 visits only about 2 orders have been correct and sometimes the person at the drive thru has an attitude when you ask for salsas or other items. Management should make sure to bring this up to the employees, so that we a customers can really...

I love El pollo loco but its not worth the long wait and mistakes. This El pollo loco has always been the slowest and they would either forget an item on your order or give you something different then what you ordered. I stop going to this location a while ago because I'm just over all the hassle. Today was my first visit again over a year and I ordered a double chicken tostada salad, they gave me a double chicken salad. When I ask them this isn't what I ordered the employee said I'm sorry but I'm not the one who took your order and implying that I should move along because there was someone waiting. She didn't offered a solution to fix my order and look at me with disgust. At least the previous staff would have done something about in my prior experience. I wont be visiting this El...
