Exotic Thai Cafe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

O.k.should have listened ... no rice except for an approx $2.85 tiny scoop only if I asked for it. Even though we ordered yellow chicken curry ..there are no noodles and NEEDS a Base... like rice... Chicken saray was dry rubbery,, and tasted like fish spoiled in the microwave and not grilled.... where did the fish taste come from unless they tried to deep fry the frozen satay sticks from the previous night... well what can you say about a peanut sauce that runs like a soup all over the place.... when the check finally comes for this torturous birthday meal, it i's $ 70.00 for 4 $ 10 dishes and a can of coke. There is a $21.00 chare on the bill and she tells us that this is sombody else's check.. except there is nobody else in the place. They get a big laugh out of this and we are given a new check but the $ 2100 item is now nearer the bottom. There is also a $3.49 ? Item that she now grabs the check from me and yells across the restaurant that it is for the 2 pieces from the chicken satay that were eaten. Except the first bite was in front of the server and not swallowed. Cold anyway.... We left them cash for fear of what they might do to access to my credit card ..... no more garbage restaurants for us just because we wish to have.somebody " professional" create a meal that I do not have the experience to prepare.. DO NOT waste your time or money ... and certainly do the math on your check..... really charging for part of a returned appetizer that was spit out in front of the server and then laughing about trying to charge for all of the other restaurant created problems?????? Note: no Daniel ..... they tried twice to add a $21.00 dish . Not on the menu,,,, and I really do not appreciate being called "You" when a dressing me like hey you are you ready to order ..... sir is my father's name ... ( joke here ) but is much better than You and not even and you too sir???? She acted like an owner... and was funneled away from us by the other staff ... would not give me names ..... when I asked ... maybe some good people cab be transferred here from their other restaurants... this neighborhood does not...

Don't order from them, they won't deliver.

I use Grub hub and have ordered from this restaurant a lot.

Generally speaking they are on time, polite, and have my order correct.

However, tonight they were late 40 minutes.

I called the restaurant just to get an ETA since I know everything is super busy with Covid.

I was told that my order had been dropped off.

I said that since I use Grub hub I marked the option to notify me by text, and never received one.

The person on the phone said it was and that it must have been picked up by a room mate (I live with my parents, and neither of them were home).

He then said he'd get the driver, and put him on the phone.

The dude proceeded to argue with me that he had delivered my order and texted me.

I politely told him that was not true and wanted to know when he would be dropping off my order.

He said he would not and I would have to contact Grub hub for any further assistance.

So that's what I did and got my order refunded.

It's really sad because I really enjoyed the food, but if you're going to treat me like that when you have made a mistake, then you have permanently lost a customer.

Don't order from them as they won't deliver it to you and won't help you if they make a mistake.

Just get Pink Elephant instead.

I ordered from them the other day and inside of 30 minutes they delivered my order, notified me, and I had delicious food.

Truly disappointing...

I'm so disappointed in the customer service I received with this restaurant. I have my spot that I always go to and loyal to but decided to give this restaurant a try the food is good but the customer service is horrible. The first time ordering we ordered for delivery and directly from their website so they delivery guy (from restaurant ) was very rude when dropping off food. So 2nd time came around and same person ( I believe must be a worker/co owner of restaurant) dropped off food and had the nerve to ask for more tip (keep in mind tip was added when ordering) when we ordered $63 worth of food and it states free delivery with $20 minimum purchase. He said because gas is too high and rude while asking for more $ and also keep in mind the restaurant is less than 10 mins away. WOW shocking . Last time our company will...
