FIRE Mariscos, Wings, Ribs — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The first time I went here a year ago was not a good experience I got some fish tacos that were literally fish sticks in a tortilla. Place a second chance so I did yesterday and the service was terrible. It is significantly pricier than most mariscos places so I would expect the quality and portions to maybe be better. My friend ordered a cocktail which had very little shrimp in it. I got a pasta which was actually very good. The wings were good too. However the service was terrible. The lady never checked on us we had to constantly call her over. They did not give you any water they said that they had no water available for customers so they have to sell us these tiny water bottles which were literally like one sip in each bottle we wound up buying like 10 mini bottles no lie. What restaurant doesn't offer regular water to their customers? Every time I asked the waitress about something she told me to look at the menu instead of just answering my questions which was pretty rude. The average price of everything is $20 and up. Tostadas 12 bucks! They are 7 dollars everywhere else. Regular size cocktail 20 dollars! They are 12 dollars everywhere else! Wings 22 dollars. Frozen margarita 20+ dollars. They also did not offer items that I would expect from a marisco place. Terrible service and way over priced. Would not recommend. Go to Maria's...

the music was so loud I'm not exaggerating this was like around 9pmi don't know if that was the reason the musicos were non-stop and loud instruments in the back of my head we couldn't Hear anything we were saying . when ordering the waiter had to scream into my ear and vise versa it was ridiculous then again that waiter suggested I order a michelada with shrimp a smaller version of the actual one they had for $20 , he told me it would charge me less then at the end he charges me double like if I ordered two michelada Wich ended up costing me $20 in total for one beer drink that was supposed to charge me only $12 but just cuz it had shrimp he charges me twice when I could have just ordered the big one that comes with two beers in it to begin with and shrimp like I did before he suggested for me to get the smaller one he ripped me off . It was my bday so it was upsetting the food tasted good but I left hungry cuz he lied about the dish being more than enough so I didn't order another dish cuz it was going to be double than the big dish we originally ordered before he suggested for us to get the other one. THIEF ! I didn't want to ruin my happy bday mood so I didn't make any scenes or complaint but here's this long review for you to know not to trust these guys and to always check your receipts...

I am really confused by all the good reviews here and am wondering if it was just a bad chef on a specific day, but it was bad tasting enough to leave a review. I went with my friends yesterday on October 8th, around 7 pm. The foods don’t taste good, terrible marinades and cooking, and the water even tasted bad, like a soap soaked mop water. The foods are also way over priced. I paid 25 dollars for ceviche that smells like old seafood, with fishy smell, and you could tell the sauce is pre-packaged and not fresh. None of the food here is fresh, and it’s smelly, and disgusting. Sorry… But you guys really need to get a good chef. I went to the restaurant because I liked all the menu options, and it could be a really cool place, if they get a new chef and get fresh ingredients instead of trying to rip off money from the customers by charging over 20 bucks for ceviche that is filled with smelly octopus and imitation crabs…. The meat is also really hard and you could tell it’s really old, overcooked, so we had to send it back. Terrible, terrible place that I ended up spending 90dollars for… which was a total waste of money. Save yourself time, money, stomach, medicine, and go get yourself some packaged food from 7-11 next door. It would probably...
