Update: it is unfortunate that after a year of having the furniture in my home waiting for the proper pieces and then trusting that the technician did the right thing it was found that not only did the technician for my foundry storage queen bed not do the right thing h his temporary solution damaged the product,he did not install the right screws when I called customer service for them to rectify the situation and properly send the right pieces they tried to charge me two different fees for something I already paid for. I'm very disappointed in how my account was handled my furniture was handled and how Bob's customer service is now handling the situation after waiting on them to do the right thing. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that I was dealing with a medical condition at the time, and are using it to justify their current actions. I literally sliced my toe on their mistake 😞, they made it very clear if I was not going to pay more and they were not going to send out the pieces I paid for.

When it comes to Bob's discount Furniture, I have been a window customer for over 4years of the Pico location. But finally became a paying customer as of April 2023-July2023 prepping for an upcoming surgery. And I can honestly tell you at this location in-house service is freaking amazing they greet you at the door they take their time with you , and my sales representative Spalding Mills went above and beyond to calm my nerves explain things in detail and help out in every area that he possibly could before I finally narrowed it down to the items I absolutely wanted. I have now purchased a total of 14 items and so far love every piece of them..
But the most negative experience came from my deliveries, the very first delivery wasn't so bad, but the deliveries after that we're disrespectful sloppy and damaging to my furniture, my household and even some of my surroundings, to just downright not listening altogether. If I could break it down I would simply give each individual delivery its own score in detail explaining why the service was so negative.
Over-the-phone customer service handled it with good care one of my items had to keep being delivered because multiple times it came damaged it took three physical attempts before finally getting the item into my home brand new and free of damage, unfortunately one of my delivery persons that I requested on numerous occasions not to have them back to my home apparently was the only one available to assist in bringing it back, and again he was slightly rude this time just showering sweat all over my brand-new furniture and felt drawers.
I wish I could have had a better delivery experience because now it's made me apprehensive about buying the next set of my furniture having it delivered and...

He promised insurance that we never got, he sent the order wrong and charged us $60 to open an account to start the payments. By the time we got the item the account was expired.. they end up asking more money to open another account! Raymond made me ran my credit too.. For a thousand dollar couch the order was sent wrong after 4 MONTHS!!! We paid $120for delivery!! I asked for a refund and they said they can’t do that! Instead they offered me a $200 gift card to make up for their mistake, I never got the gift card! Either way, why I need a gift card? To go back to them? And go through this all over again? I wanted to pay in full at the store, but Raymond convinced us that wasn’t the best option. He told us that the best way to purchase and get their free insurance for the couch is by financing it through Progressive (Bob doesn’t take payments, they use a third party called Progressive and you’ve to pay $60 to open an account with them). I wanted to pay in full at the store!! He said that wasn’t an option!! You can pay only after the item is delivered according to him.. He promised that if we make our payment in full or within 90days after we get the couch we will get GOOFPROOF which is the insurance they offer for the couch in case of damage. I called after I paid my couch in full today and they told me that they DON’T OFFER GOOFPROOF because I sign for “lease to buy option ” that Raymond offered us by saying that’s the best option of payment to get goofproof. I’ve been on the phone with Progressive for the expired account for 2hours! And 3hours with Bobs! I called again different days for multiple hours! Their customer service is very bad, they don’t know how to do their job and waste your time.. every person say something different and they contradict themselves, they don’t know how to solve the problem and keep transfer the calls for hours!!!! I’ve spoken to at least 10 employees, plus managers on site and sales people! Everybody promise something different and they contradict themselves! Nothing gets done!!! Whoever is reading this, DON’T GO IN HERE, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! We’re going to Business Bureau for a report and we’re gonna open a lawsuit against the company!!! They cheat people! Read moreOur experience at Bobs Discount Furniture at the Midtown Crossing shopping center was nothing short of top notch. Our consultants name was Michael and the guy is a star, no question.
First off, we came in at 8pm and the place closes at 9pm needing to furnish basically the entire apartment since we just moved here. We didn’t get anything other than a friendly welcome from Micheal who was more than happy to help us! We came in intending to get a dresser and maybe a couch, but after discussing our needs with Michael, we were able to find not only a dresser and couch, but a great area rug for the living room thats memory foam, a coffee table, end tables for the bedroom, bar stools and entertainment center for our TV. We also live in a high rise I might add, so being storage conscious with our furniture was a must, and all these items checked that box for the most part.
Micheal didn’t put any pressure on us to make decisions, but, he got us pricing, availability and delivery time info all in real time so we could make an easy decision on everything. Having just moved down here, getting these items in a timely fashion was also important to us, and Michael helped facilitate delivery of our furniture within a week!!! Also, it’s a white glove service, so we’re getting a hassle free and convenient delivery and set up, totally worth it my opinion.
I give Michael, and Bobs Discount Furniture top marks, 5 out of 5 for service and item availability. He also stuck around with us after 9pm when the store closed to make sure we were happy with everything. If you want a great consultant, ask for Michael, he’s your guy!
