ON L.A NAILS — Local services in Los Angeles

Been coming here on and off for years and I say on and off due to the lack of consistency but haven’t been here over the last 4yrs. ANYWAY, I couldn’t get an appointment at my regular spot due to the holiday and decided to give On La Nails a try again; honestly I should’ve just waited. Walked in at 1:30 didn’t get serviced til 3something only to leave deeply DISAPPOINTED & UNSATISFIED. I asked for a pink on pink French tip- fill, shared a visual example of what I desired and I ended up with a case of what I asked for VS what I got. Not happy and honestly NEVER giving this business my money again in this lifetime nor the next. Who the hell pays to see their natural nail through the French Tip? THEN TO ADD, leave with their hands dry as ever before and peeling? When I entered the salon my hand didn’t look like this but look at them now. Was it the SOAP IN YOUR RESTROOM I USED? Absolutely incredible job! I came in with grown out acrylic nails, and instead of doing what all the other salons do which is just soak my nails in acetone he properly filed them down and didn’t use a single drop of acetone to take off my acrylic nails, leaving the integrity of my real nails. Then proceeded to do a lovely gel manicure paying special attention to my cuticles cleaning up all the edges, making sure my shape was perfect before moving on looking at it at every angle, then proceeded to do three layers of gel polish without me, asking two layers of topcoat and a lovely oil massage of my forearms and fingers and wrists! Make sure I always had one hands-free so I could freely scroll through TikTok and wasn’t bored during the appointment mind you this was all a walk in as I was driving home. I would give this place zero stars if I could! Their staff is extremely unprofessional. I went yesterday to get my eyebrows done and they told me to come 3pm/4pm same day or to just come next day at 9:30am because the employee had an emergency. I said I would be back next day at 9:30am…next day the same staff member told me that she wasn’t in at all that day and to just come in the next day.
