The sopes and are made with TINGA instead of chreeded chicken when asked for chicken. In other words They have to stop being cheap and make the orders accordingly. I asked for a quesadilla with chicken and lettuce and sour cream on top....they refused "cause thats not how it goes" they said😮 i offered to pay more and still they refused. When i got home i found out that my quesadilla was soaked and limp because they used chicken stew (chicken cooked with onions, tomatoes and peppers) so it was juicy..if i wanted a burrito with cheese i would've said said so. Did they ask if i like onions or tomatos? Or if im allergic? No..so they cook chicken with tomatoes and onions and peppers and they use for everything? When they could have all the ingridients separately for convinience of the client..because we are the ones eating them not them..i get heart burn when i eat tomatoes Specially cooked. I ordered a quesadilla not a burrito with cheese. I had to deprive myself of having a quesadilla. ..plus my money...

I love tamales and I'm always on the lookout for a place that serves a really good tamale. Now you would think in LA there would be hundreds of these places but there's not because people like to think they know how to make a tamale properly but when you get right down to it they don't in fact I went to a place in Pasadena I'm not going to mention the name but they actually used CORNBREAD for the massa. Yeah you heard me right, CORNBREAD for the massa and as someone who has lived in the southwestern United States for almost 50 years I got to tell you that I do know about tamales and it's all about the massa so if you get that part wrong you might as well threw it all away. But I mean that's so ridiculous it was sweet and it was stuffed with savory pork ! That's crazy! So anyway I went to King Taco because I saw a sign on the window that said they had tamales and I figured why not give it a try. They were excellent so keep it up King Taco you're...

Is it me? Or is it that the chefs purposely make it hard to hear what order number they're calling? Not only was it in Spanish, there was so much static that I don't think I would have heard my number if it was in English! Haha..

After trying the food trucks in the area, I have to say King Taco is seriously overpriced for what they sell. I had a carne asada burrito the other day and it's about $2 more than the food truck I frequent and it was half the size. When it comes to flavor and taste, they're pretty much the same.

Granted, there are a lot of good things about eating at King Taco including the indoor seating and the choices of drinks. However, I gotta say that for the size of the restaurant, the parking lot is quite small!

All in all, for consistent food during all hours of the day and night, King Taco is definitely the place to go especially since they...

King Taco has been a staple in densely Hispanic neighborhoods for years. Always enjoyable, but prices have gotten excessive recently. $1.88 for a small taco you could legitimately eat in 2 bites is getting out of hand. Also noticed a sign that says "Due to increasing costs, we're limiting salsas" but then you see the wall with pictures that shows their like 23 different store locations throughout Los Angeles. So clearly they must be doing well. Overall, King Taco will always have a spot in our hearts from us that grew up in these neighborhoods, but y'all need to chill with these prices or at least offer more food. Lastly, remodel the restaurants bc they're bleak. It's a bare room with almost no art on the wall that echos pretty loud because of the tile.

This King Taco food truck wall to wall Residential areas. Almost every other day ( including Sunday ) The generator loud and disturbing the whole entire of neighbors who live at 2336 Griffin. We brought this issue to Oscar ( the manager) including Cooporation office but we have not hear back from any one. They parked and baked inside the truck for hours not for deliveries. Edit July 24/2024 the generator is extraordinary LOUD twice a day. After reaching out to the employee, she advised me to call cooperation and refused to moved the food truck! It is affecting our life style snd health. If this ongoing issues will no resolve we will have all of our tenants seeking legal right.

Would love to give this place 5 stars, but food is almost there. Had Al Pastor, Carne Asada, chicharron, and lengua tacos. The Al Pastor was my favorite, followed by Asada. The Chicharron and lengua directly impacted the limit of 4 stars. Had the sopes, and that was definitely my favorite of the day. Pay the difference for the large cup. The red sauce is my favorite because of the spicy level, but the green sauce is more flavorful but lacking something. Limited parking about 8 spots and bathrooms need a code. Would recommend better mic and speakers as it can be difficult to hear.
