Five Star Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Five stars! Very nice people. They're the same owners for as long as I've been coming here... 15-20 years. The food looked fresh and yummy. Their orange chicken is actually made with tender chunks of chicken, lightly breaded and smothered in sweet red sauce. I had the juicy pork ribs that sit in their own juices just waiting for someone to gobble them up. I did. The Thai tea was great too. $10 for a two item combo with rice and chow mein is super fair. Living in Lincoln Heights I thoroughly enjoyed the local Mexican food offerings, and wanted to have something different once in awhile so I would give Five Star a try here and there. Each time the meals were very bland or off tasting, and the restaurant itself was not anything enjoyable to look at. Tried it about 4 times in total and vowed this was not going to be our go-to place. Chinatown is a couple minutes away, and I'd recommend making the extra effort to go to any other Chinese restaurant...

I was looking for a place that sold sushi around the Lincoln heights area and found Five star, and I have to say this is now by far my favorite restaurant. I had the Lincoln Heights roll a spicy lobster roll and a chicken teriyaki Bowl, everything was made fresh and over all very delicious.
