This weekend at an event, The Kobbler King was one of the vendors selling cobbler and pecan pie…one for $12 or two for $20. I purchased two for $20 to show my support. When the event ended, I noticed the vendor still had quite a bit of product left. I stopped by and asked what would happen with the leftovers, and he mentioned donating them to the homeless. I was told my cobbler was freshly made that day, (Saturday) so I looked forward to enjoying it later. Unfortunately, when I went to eat it today, (Monday) it was spoiled. I was really disappointed. I truly wanted to support a local business, but this experience reminded me why I dont do street vendors and left me concerned about food freshness and storage practices.

Ordered waffles to be shipped. Paid about $35 for shipping for my waffles (about $65 total for 4 packs) to arrive completely thawed. Attempted to freeze them to eat, but they ended up sticking together and breaking apart when I tried to separate them. When I asked for a refund I was told cthat " they surely were not all stuck together" and to PAY for shipping supplies and shipping to receive a refund.. so you want me to pay to return the waffles because of a mistake you made and for you to dispose of them?! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The money you pay for the product you receive is disgusting. So disappointing.

This place would easily get 5 stars for being absolutely terrible. The gentleman that took my order was so nonchalant & arrogant about how good they are & how they been in business for 30yrs. Now I got a -small- peach cobbler (11 peaches & syrup with a thin sheet of crust on top) & a -small- banana pudding (5 cookies & super rich pudding) Its just comical how anxious I was to try this place & how things turned out. #NEVER #AGAIN

I was exhausted after a long day at work, and all I wanted was a sweet treat to end my day on a positive note. As I was driving home, I noticed the Kobbler King and remembered hearing about them at a Taste of Soul event. Without any hesitation, I decided to give it a try. I entered the shop with my son and was immediately greeted by the owner. He directed us to use his digital board to figure out what to order.

Unfortunately, I arrived later in the day and the owner informed me that he was already sold out of their bread pudding. I decided to try their monkey bread, sweet potato pie, and peach cobbler instead. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed in the slightest. Each dessert was flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients.

I was impressed by the owner's hospitality. As a respectful patron I remind myself to be patient and understanding when dealing with small businesses. It's important to remember that they have limited staff and resources.

Overall, my experience at the Kobbler King was fantastic. The desserts were outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the owner's passion for his business was evident. I highly recommend giving this place a try, and I will definitely be back for more of their mouth-watering treats. Thank you, Kobbler King, for making my day a...

Wow!!! Talk about poor customer service and behaving badly. I wish there was a way to give this business zero stars. On Sunday June 5th while enjoying a great day of Jazz at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival, my husband and I decided to try a banana pudding as advertised on the display banner. The line was moving quickly so when it was our turn I asked who I assumed was the owner if there was any banana pudding. He rudely replied, 'If you don't see it we don't have it! Now tag lines are great but in this case it was neither cute nor professional and came off as rude and condescending. As a business owner it never ceases to amaze me the level of bad customer service that seems to run rampant with small businesses. Unacceptable...since my question was a reasonable one due in part to many small tart like cakes covered in plastic and some were unrecognizable. I also plan to provide feedback to the promoter. Buyer beware. Skip the Cobbler King and patronize businesses that appreciate your business...he could care less...he...

The peach cobbler here is mediocre. I tried this place out because of some of the positive reviews, but some of these reviews on how great it is are most likely fake and from friends of theirs considering the establishment these cobblers come from and some reviews are flat out advertising the place and not actually leaving a review. It is filthy, falling apart and poorly maintained. I didn't realize until after I paid that they have a B rating, anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows places with an A rating can easily have cleanliness issues or roaches so a B rating for any place serving food is a big red flag. I'm sure people buying this in a grocery store would change their minds if they knew it came from a B rated dirty place. It's a 10 x 10 room with a small 4 foot wide refrigerated counter top display half full and was told they were made "fresh yesterday" like that is supposed to make it sound better. Don't make the mistake I did...
