Tres de Asada Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My mother got me some outside food while she was on the road. I asked her to get me some 'Carne Asada Fries' and she came through like always. The presentation was absolutely amazing oh, such a large portion with tomatoes, cheese, asada, sour cream, fries, and avocados, but the taste wasn't 100-percent there for me. The first two bites of the meal were great. I thought this was a place I could bookmark if I ever wanted 'Carne Asada Fries, but it's not. The more I kept eating, the more tasteless it became. The asada wasn't fully seasoned, the fries were very dry, and there wasn't enough sour cream, barely any ay all. The only thing I really tasted where the tomatoes.

It saddened me because the fries tasted more of grease than sodium. Too much salt is bad for the health, but these fries packed salt completely. The sauces on the other hand, two green and one red were good. I preferred the two green sauces over red since it was is too spicy for my liking. The light green sauce that looked like cilantro sauce was my favorite, very good! It added some taste to the meal.

Overall the first couple of bites on top were tasty! but the more I kept eating the more I tasted that the meal was mostly bland and tasteless. I wouldn't come back and eat their fries again, but I am going to try another item on their list which is their 'Carne Asada Burrito' hopefully it's better...

Best ceviche spot in Los Angeles. I don't know what they do differently, but it's AMAZING. Watermelon drink is refreshing and delish, pineapple is sooooo fruity....yum! I have them mix it up because I can never decide between their house made beverages. Everyone is very friendly and effective at their jobs. The interior is beautiful. I just dislike the parking. I love this place or I must say my whole family live this place. This is what this neighborhood needed an awesome great tasting Mexican place. Been coming here since the first week that they opened they are amazing they treat me and my family as part of theirs.
