Being an Event Planner has it perks but getting excellent service is hands down to the restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming and provided impeccable service. I got to sample lots of delicious food items on the menu. It was delicious and flavorful. All the food is authentic and made in the kitchen daily. I loved the Chile Verde, pork chop, enchiladas, shrimp tostada, quesadilla of carnitas and chicken taco. The salsa had a kick which it needs if you are having salsa. I loved the beans too.

Horrible service, we waited a long time for them to sit us down, and take more time for them to take our order. They gave us cold coffee. The meat đŸ„© was hard and like rubber, the plate of fries tacos looked like they were cooked in old oil because they had a rancid flavor. The carne asada burrito was served with very old and dried meat.

The food was fresh and cooked well, I can see why so many people like this place! Customer service was excellent as well. The only I wish were different is, I wish they used more seasoning on the meats. I got the hard shell beef taco and chicken taquitos. The seasoning was almost undetectable on the meat.

Let me start by saying that I won't review the food that I ate because I had just come down with a serious case of nausea. This review is based solely on the feedback from my kids and mother in law.

Maracas is a small restaurant with a small dining room. Like a lot of local places, they do the best they can with the space available. That being said, the lady who attended to us was very nice and friendly. Again, it's a small dining room but we were able to find 1 table to seat 4. For drinks we had 2 horchatas, a diet coke and a coffee.

It didn't take long to get our food. My kids love to eat, and they love hamburgers. Neither of my kids got even halfway on their burgers, I've never seen that from them before. My son actually threw up after eating only half the burger, but I won't blame them for that, it could have been something he ate the night before. My daughter simply said "she didn't like it, it didn't have good flavor". They also failed to drink half of their horchata, and they love horchata even more then burgers. They both said "it was wayyyyyy too sweet".

My mother in law ordered a salvadorean breakfast, came with beans n cheese, cream, and fried plantains. She also said her food was lacking flavor. The complimentary chips n salsa was pretty good. I ended up paying 44 dollars for 4 people, and honestly it was a letdown to all of us. We might give this place another try later...

We have always loved going for weekend breakfast. With two young kids we feel accommodated and always have enough tasty food to take home for leftovers. Kids are super fans of their pancakes! We recently hired their catering service for our youngest baptism. They were so helpful in picking out the right food, delivery was FREE!! They arrived right one time, and the food was hot, delicious, abundant and super affordable. The presentation was beautiful, and it was so nice to not cook. Our order contained two trays of rice and beans, and let’s be honest- that’s never the highlight of a catered meal. But Maracas beans and rice, salsa and chips were off the chart delicious! There was literally nothing left after the party because people served themselves third helpings! So delicious!! I normally super stress about big get togethers, but I’m looking forward to our next family party so I can book some maracas catering. The booking process was super easy. 20/10! Can’t...

The food is great there and the people..(some not so much only as long as they are seen by the boss. They catered the Thanksgiving dinner and lady named Cristina was so rude to many of the people attending the that where late for the lunch-dinner gathering. She said the food is gone when there was a tray of beans, rice chips and salsa. A young man came foward and said....but we still have beans, rice chips and salsa if you like. Tgen a time later i saw soneone approch her afain asking for water when a case of small bottles was on the table. Again the young man came to the rescue and said the bottles that are the table! She redponded oh a thought she saud the mexican waters to which that also wasnt true because the container was still 1/4 full of jaimaica water. At the end they took back leftover beans i dont know about the rice..)Other than that i recomend the food there its...
