I’d like to share my review for this location. I have been going to different locations of Panini in the past 16 years. I have dined in this location twice before; however this time was very interesting. Today, we ordered chicken shush kabob and koobideh. After waiting for 45 minutes, the food came. Koobideh were burned. The vegetables also were well grilled which I did not mind. I told the waiter and he said he took the plate to bring a new one. Then the floor manager ‘Sergio’ came and rudely said this is perfect koobideh. He insisted this is perfect and it doesn’t matter how many time I bring it is going to be the same even though I said I know what the food should look like.. But he continued with his hostile behavior and kept repeating ‘do you want it or not? ‘Do you want it or not? I said if you bring similar I don’t want it and he said ok, I cancel your order because this is the way it is. I am disappointed of the owner / general manager whoever hired him for this position because I am sure I am not the first person he tasted his customer service. After that I talked to the general manager ‘Alex’ he was nice and I explained what happened and I told him I know well enough how koobideh should look like exactly the way you know better than non-Hispanic people what Tacos should look like. He said he would talk to him. I hope he takes it seriously. This is not good for business. If they make koobideh kabob burned like that as Sergio claimed, panini Franchise should have started developing dementia that have forgotten how their koobideh kabobs looked like before. By the way, I lost the chance to take a picture because I was not planning to post any bad review. I simply requested a change but Mr. Sergio inspired me with his rudeness and hostile customer...
Read morePanini Grill is one of my favorite place to take my family and friends for lunch, Dinner or celebrations. Usually my go to is the one in Burbank and always get the best customer service. Now, I work in the mall in Sherman Oaks and I was very happy to see that we had one next door and decide one day to walk in and sat myself in one of the available tables. Mind you I was with joy and excitement that I was going to eat at my favorite places by myself during my lunch time. When the server Rene came to take my order he asked me if i wanted to start with a drink and said yes and that I was already to take my order. When I was giving him my order he was taking it down with a bad attitude and rolling his eyes looking up to the ceiling. I notice that maybe he wasn’t having a great day and I decided to get up from my table and said never mind and starting walking towards the excite and he screams out loud if he had said something wrong across the restaurant. The fact that he walks up to me with a bad attitude and rolling his eyes up the ceiling that already made me felt unwelcome. The reason why I decided to take my business elsewhere. The food is very delicious but his customer service to me was horrible and rude. I spoke about this to my colleagues and they had also said that they had the same experience and the reason why they don’t come to this location for their lunch time. If this is who you have as manager and treating your customers consumers I’m sorry that he is the reason maybe your location at Sherman Oaks may not have the next experience and customer like me decide to dine...
Read moreA good friend of mine introduced me to this fantastic spot, which I had never heard of before. I didn’t even know there were businesses behind the mall it’s attached to. My family and I first went there for dinner, and today I met a friend for lunch after telling him about "my secret place." He absolutely loved it! The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with beautiful artwork and plenty of seating. There’s also a lovely patio, and since today was sunny and warm, we decided to sit outside. The wonderful and friendly waiter. Carlos. quickly came over to take our drink orders, and our drinks arrived in no time. My friend ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, which was delicious and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the chicken and Brie panini, which I swear was panini heaven. I also got a side salad of my choice and opted for a pasta salad, which was just as tasty. The service is always friendly and top-notch. And the food? Simply incredible. Whether it's the Middle Eastern dishes like the fantastic chicken kabob (which I highly recommend), the pasta options, paninis, or salads, there’s something for everyone, all of it made with high-quality ingredients. Plus, there's plenty of parking. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough. Go check it out—you...
