Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Los Angeles

had a very disappointing experience at this Pizza Hut. When I called to place my order, I specifically asked if they had any specials. The woman on the phone told me the deal was $27.99. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, they suddenly said the total was over $39. When I asked why, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. Later, someone came out claiming to be the manager, and even then, they only changed the price to $30.99 instead of honoring the $27.99 special I was originally told about.

This is very misleading and feels like false advertising. On top of that, the pizzas were just plain cheese and the wings were plain as well — nothing extra that should have changed the price. It seems like they alter the prices once you arrive, which is unfair and unprofessional.

Customers should be very careful because this location does not honor the prices they advertise or quote over the phone. What they tell you and what they actually charge you are two very different things. Be aware — they charge more than what they promise, and that is dishonest...

Ordered online for carryout, arrived at 9:20pm. The child that was at the register had said it would only be a few more minutes when the screen displayed "READY." After about 30 minutes of patiently waiting, i again asked and they said they had ran out of dough, but it would be out in 3 minutes, again waiting another 20, and they said the girl in the back didn't make my order, but it would be out soon. I then asked for a refund, but the only one that could do that was the manager ," BRIAN," who was on break and NOT answering any calls or text. They then called "Gia" their other boss, which was "too busy" at the moment and would see me at 12am if i liked to get my refund back. I have been to several different Pizza Hut restaurants and this one is the only one that doesn’t ask for your telephone number for the Hut Rewards. When I asked Valentine (which was the worker who took my order) why is it they don’t ask for the telephone number his said we just don’t. He also said to get your Hut Reward point you have to order online. I would have ordered online had I known what exactly I wanted before leaving work but I was driving home from work by the time I knew I wanted Pizza Hut. I wasn’t going to order online while driving, so I order at the Pizza Hut store. What surprise me most is they have a sign on the counter stating Hut Rewards call-in,online, or in store but I guess that doesn’t apply to this location.
