We have been coming here for many years and the last time they changed management, everything really improved from the earlier years. So their food and service had remained good for several years, but tonight they really had a bad night. We had a reservation for a large party for 6:30 and were not seated until about 6:50. Our drink orders were finally taken at around 7:20 and we asked for more chips since by that time, we had eaten them all. The drinks didn't come for another 20 minutes, only after asking, but the 3 bar drinks took another 10 minutes after asking for them again, twice. Our dinner order was finally taken at around 8:20, after we had to flag waiters down to ask them to take our order. We asked for chips again, but those never came. A table next to us ordered after we did and their food came out quickly and they were served sooner. Our food finally came out at around 8:45 and it was all lukewarm and very overcooked and salty. The check came with a 19.5% gratuity automatically included. We asked the waiter to remove it and we added only a 10% since this was not completely their fault since they clearly were not staffed properly for the number of tables they seated at the same time. Although the waiters apologized numerous times, not once did they offer us anything as a gesture of good will. Not a bowl of ice cream for the kids, not a watered down drink for the adults paying, not even a soft drink for all the time we spent waiting for those to be refilled. Nothing, zero, zilch, just an apology and an expectation that we will return and do this again for another 20% gratuity. I hope that this is not a sign that this restaurant will be going back down hill like they did before. We stopped going there for a long time then and so I guess its time...

Very disappointed.. upon arriving staff said it was a 45 minutes wait but turned out to be 1 hour 15 minutes. We couldn't understand and asked many times why there were empty tables and no one cleaning them so customers could be seated. No response. Finally after being seated the waiter was very nice and took our food and drink order. Drinks were brought to the table within about 15 minutes but two drinks were forgotten and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for those drinks to be brought to us. It took roughly an hour to get our meals. One meal out of seven meals ordered was hot the taquitos soggy my burrito was good but not warm and they never came back to check to ask if we need any refill or order more drinks. I blame this all on poor management. If you're a regular customer here they will put you ahead of the line waiting. The staff is friendly but not organized. As we were seated with empty tables available we saw people still lined up it made absolutely no sense. Last time coming here. I recommend the GREEN ONION.. good prices...

I'm updating my review since I have come here and realized a few issues. First , if you are eating in the restaurant you pay full price for your drinks. No happy hour discount applied. #2 you will also be taxed twice!! Your bar tab and your dinner bill will be separated and you be taxed twice. #3 don't hear anything with mayo on it. Ie, kids cheese burger . it taste disgusting. Good luck . changed my 5 to a 2 because of this issue. My bloody Mary was 8.75!!!!! I came here because brite spot in Pedro was getting expensive. This place may be a little more or about the same AND the service and atmosphere here is100 times better. Everything was yummy. So yummy threat I forgot to take a picture. They also have a full bar...happy hour specials...and working a.c. lol. They beat brite spot by leaps and bounds. Glad I changed it up. I got the kids their breakfast platters and they are huge. I got the menudo for my Sunday hang over. Wasn't the biggest or best menudo...
