SALVIMEX110 RESTAURANT & BAR — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was a big fan of this place when I found them while ordering delivery but they've burned me on my order too many times that now they've lost a customer. The last 3 times in a row I've ordered from them there has been an issue. The first time I used their own website and when I showed up to pick it up they hadn't made any of it and looked at me like I was crazy so I showed them the receipt. The second time I ordered from Grubhub they forgot someone's entire meal (as well as the curtido and salsa for pupusas and limes and salsa for tacos). Sure I got my money back for that one item but that doesn't fix the fact that someone didn't have anything to eat, I wasted my time and not to mention all the fees added on top of everything make ordering the missing item again a losing endeavor. This last time I ordered from Doordash and AGAIN they forgot someone's meal. Now I have to argue with Doordash who is giving me the runaround about returning my money. All this in the span of less than a month. I'm done hoping this place will get it right. Salvimex is not worth...

I saw a review which said that the workers are not wearing masks. I usually order through Uber eats now but I made a point to stop by in person. The cooks are visible and they are VISIBLY NOT WEARING MASKS. I don't like to do this to small businesses and rarely give a bad review. This is unacceptable. I write this review hoping that the owner reads it and makes changes now. Needless to say I asked the cashier why they did not wear masks and she ignored my question and replied by asking me what I wanted to order. I just left feeling ignored. If they get a visit from the health department they will get shut down immediately. I feel bad writing this review but I daresay it is the least that I should do. I contemplated calling the health department myself but this as a small business I just can't bring myself to make the call. I ordered pupusas, taco and burrito. The taco was decent. I didn’t get any salsa to go along with it though. The burrito which was supposed to be a carne asada burrito was more like a shredded meat burrito. It wasn’t your typical Mexican burrito with the red rice and beans. It had white rice and cheese it definitely wasn’t what I expected. The pupusas were my least favorite. I felt like it had NO FLAVOR whatsoever! Not even the curtido or the tomato sauce had flavor.
