Patio motel — Hotel in Gardena

The wife of the owner was extremely belligerent and rude. She falsely accused us and harassed us loudly in front of people that were in the motel with her. She pointed her finger at us because she thought that we had not paid for the day. However, we had paid for the day. In fact we had paid earlier the night before for the day ahead. She even had the nerve to send for a man to put us out of the room we were staying in. Her husband who was involved in our transaction for payment of the room that night was in the shower. When he got out, he told us that he had to check. We cold not believe it!He was the one involved in our payment of the room. We had paid two times in one day for two nights which covered this day as well. He soon looked at the books and saw that WE WERE RIGHT! We told him to get his wife so that she could have the opportunity to apologize to us. After tussling with him in conversation about it, he went and got her and she did not want to apologize. Instead she wanted to justify the situation by saying that her husband was in the shower and she thought that we had not paid instead of simply looking at the books like he did. Also, they lied about having "Wi-Fi" available. They lure you in making you think that you will be able to use their wi-fi but when they get you into the room and you ask why the wi-fi is not working, they blame it on the carrier or they say too many people using the wi-fi at one time. I am a world traveler. For business, I travel to 3rd world countries. Their Wi-Fi works better than this place. I believe that it is ALL LIES!!!!....I also had to kill roaches!.. I WARN YOU...DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS MOTEL. IT IS AS CREEPY AS ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE MINE....I AM SURE THAT IT WILL ALSO COVER ALL OF THE REVIEWS THAT WILL BE SPOKEN AFTER MINE...AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ATTITUDE AND WRONGFULL ACCUSIATIONS!!!!!....HIGHLY...INSULTED!!..They should be reported to the BBB! and the...

If you are trying to get some sleep this motel is not the place. It was so loud all night. It was a Wednesday and there were people partying in the parking lot and music blasting so loud I couldn't even speak on the phone in my own room let alone try and sleep. The bed had cigarette burns all along the sides of the bed. My headboard had grease spots all over it. There are no towels btw so you plan on showering pack your own towel or you'll be air drying like I had to. All that could be looked pass for the cheap price but the owner is a thief. When I picked up my key I told the owner that I would need to check out at 4:30am and asked if that would be a problem for collecting my deposit back, he said that was fine just ring his doorbell so he can give me my deposit. Well 4:30am came and went and I rang his bell for almost 10 minutes and he did not answer but I had to leave. When I called at 8am to let him know I had left and to please put my deposit back on my card he told me nope not unless I came back in person. As I was already long gone and very far away that was not possible. I tried to explain this and he said uh well and hung up. What a rotten person, I would have rather spent more money at an honest man's motel then give 1...

I was without a home for a bit and stayed here while I searched and went to work.

The owners are very nice and honestly deal with a lot when it comes to other customers.

I think this place is ideal for anyone you just have to be mindful that it is a motel.

The location is quiet aside from the bar at night but the energy overall is good and straight to the point.

Upon my stay, I had seen many angry and well not willing to leave and so I understand when it comes to the upkeep of certain rooms and corners of this motel. I had many different rooms some are very clean and others aren’t due to some of those that stayed before you.

The owner is really nice if you are… like even if there is an issue it’s best to not project the anger onto the person you want to help you. Things happen and we are living in crazy times.

Thankful for the Patio Motel and the ones in charge of the business they’re running.
