Excellent Cuisine, but Service Experience Fell Short
I recently dined at this Korean restaurant and was impressed by the quality of the food—it was truly excellent. However, I was disappointed by the level of customer service, which did not reflect the same high standard.
In particular, I observed that I was not offered tea, which was consistently provided to other guests. The proprietress appeared disengaged during my interaction, while exhibiting noticeably more attentiveness and hospitality toward other patrons—specifically those of Korean or Latino backgrounds.
As a professional affiliated with a prestigious university, I make it a point to support and recommend exceptional local establishments. That said, consistent, respectful treatment of all customers is fundamental. Regardless of how good the food may be, a lack of professionalism and perceived bias in service undermines the overall experience and deters future visits.
