Silverlake Ramen - Van Nuys — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've been to most all the popular ramen shops across LA. But Silverlake Ramen is still my favorite. ♥ ʕ•ﻌ•ʔ Their creamy broth is amazing. Making me seriously addicted to their ramen. It became my soul food because their unique rich&thick broth is super tasty. I drove to Van nuys from DTLA, getting super excited to try this new place. Of course, it was worth driving!

Not only the flavor, Servers greeted us with warm smile . They were attentive, accommodating, welcoming and fast. Great hospitality!

The food came at right time even though there was some waiting. I ordered truffle ramen with pork, gyoza ,karaage chicken and mushrooms. They were all super delicious. Got me on cloud nine. The truffle broth was garlicky( I love garlic), creamy and rich. Plus, I felt like they put extra truffle oil than other locations. (Yeah, i could tell it) The karaage chicken was so tender & juicy in inside and crispy outside! The mushrooms were an unexpected treat too.

Great place! I had the Chicken Karagee bowl or something like that. A little spicy for me so I went back and requested without the terakihi sauce and spicy sauce and it was 10/10. The rice was cooked perfectly and the chicken was just perfectly cooked. It only took like 5 minutes too, but granted, it wasn't very busy both times. Still though, McDonalds many times has made me wait 15 minutes in the parking lot while they finish literally a single cheeseburger with no modifications. Another time I went through the drive through for 3 iced coffees the exact same, waited about 10 minutes in line, then was handed two of them, and told to wait for the third in the parking lot. I waited TWENTY MINUTES and after I was fed up they said they forgot and said they would make it right now. I waited another 5 minutes inside the store with my car running and children in there for it. Anyway, I am incredibly impressed by the speed of Silverlake Ramen for something that is way more fancy and just slightly more expensive than...

From the quick and efficient service to the delivery time of the food to the table to the quality and taste of the food itself: 10/10. It's as if the servers already know you need something before you even ask. I have never been to a restaurant where you don't have to wave a server down, but instead you simply make eye contact with them, and they come to you promptly. Portioning of the ingredients was perfect. I am not the type of person to ever see the bottom of my ramen bowl--but, wow, their creamy classic broth was so good, I did not need to ask for a to-go box, in fact, my husband and I finished e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
