Jamba — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was excited to see this location open as I’m a frequent Jamba Juice customer and this is walking distance from me but I went in today to order one of my favorites with which I always substitute almond milk instead of regular milk, only to be told its a 75 cent up charge. At first, ok this is fine, prices changed... but....75 cents is a lot for a substitution of a different milk on a medium, also when I questioned this because I’m not charged this at any other location and I noticed this wasn’t being charged when ordering on the app...I was told “ya I know, my manager said there are no substitutions, we have to charge for the milk for IN STORE orders.” I’m sorry, WHAT?! So because I walked in to order, I have to pay for it but not if I had ordered on the app..shady! Seems like they are not inline with all the other Jamba’s especially since their base prices are already higher than other locations to begin with and they are still trying to squeeze you. ORIGINAL ONE STAR REVIEW⭐️ Wow! My soy milk was substituted w a dairy product and NO ONE informed me! When I questioned it, Juliana the store lead shrugged her shoulder and said that’s what you get with a online order!!! So that is how you deal with customers with a milk allergy? She didn’t seem to care and walked away. No ask for a replacement or a Refund ~ very sad! And a Really Big issue, this location needs better customer service and ALLERGENS TRAINING!

She apologized for the incident and said she would make sure the employee would be talked to. I went in today afternoon (Saturday’s are busy for them) and tired something new... I usually only ever get the Caribbean passion but was swayed to try something else, so I got the white gummy flavor. My drink was made promptly and I unfortunately didn’t like the taste at all :( (shame on me for trying something new hehe). I didn’t want to be “that” person but I asked crew member Ronald if I can have a new drink made and he was very nice and accommodating . Crew member lisbeth also was very sweet. They are awesome and made me another drink without being charged again....
