Sky Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I admit, it was my mistake to ignore this restaurant because it's a hookah bar. I'm not into that past time, but I do love good food. And Sky Mediterranean Restaurant has really surprised me for a place that is literally within walking distance.

I can recommend Sky for those looking for good late-night take-out food for a decent price. I was looking for a good burger (gasp!) and surprisingly enjoyed the one here. The burger has some size and weight to it, and the meat is seasoned in a very unique way. I'd prefer thicker fries, however, as the ones here are Mcdonald's size. I can't vouch for other dishes as I haven't tried them! I'll update the review when I do. (Hot sauce is amazing though.)

The interior decor of the restaurant appears nice and clean. Plenty of tables and couches. However, the blue neon lighting puts me off, and the dining room is almost always empty, which discourages me from eating inside. (And I think this was the case even before the pandemic.)

The service is OK. Expect to wait a few minutes longer than estimated for your food.

Initially went to a bougie place for hookah and left due to disappointment. This used to be my college days spot but seeing the rating was so low I was hesitant, that being said I didn't get a lot of options so decided to give it a shot. Plenty of parking. The person serving us was very friendly and immediately came to help and sit us where we wanted. The hookah was amazing and very well priced, cheap actually. He brought coals on time and didn't ask us every 2 min how everything is. We decide to get some tea and a nacho fries with meat. Tea was great and came with various sweetener options. The fries were bomb, so yum, the meat was I think medium rare cube cut steak quality and the garnish on top was made it all 10 times more delicious. Long story short can't figure what people complained about or the low rating this is a great spot with great service, a great and very large food menu and great hookah and everything is very reasonably priced and dare to say cheap...

It was my first time visiting this place. I've got to tell you their lamb chops is worth e every penny without paying the extra price for the quality and well prepared meal. I loved their rice and the Lula kebab too. I've been in so many Mediterranean restaurants in Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Encino, Miami, and so many hotels and even out of US. I cook and my mom cooks, but I absolutely loved everything we ordered tonight. Their seasoned fries was crispy outside, and soft and tasteful inside. I love the fact that their food section is separated from hookah lounge...the waiter, Jermaine, I believe that was his name was so polite and friendly . He made enough trips to check on us and yet was always around with giving us our privacy. We are going to return...
