Tacos El Chingo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I came here to get some suadero tacos on a weekday evening, and wow they were delicious! There's many meats to choose from, and there's a self-serve salsa bar too (although I question this during covid times). There's complimentary grilled onions too which really added to the taste, and they had a really awesome onion and habanero pepper mixture which was quite spicy. Ok tacos. Kind of small.

I came around 1 AM on Saturday and it was looking a little quiet. Nice staff but you may need to speak some Spanish or use a translator if you want to say more than just your order.

The meats are all kind of cut up to bits and are piled up in little bunches on the grill top. They feel like they may have been cooking for a while. The serving size is small at $2 a taco. I am not that interested in this place but maybe it will be better if I come at a different time when...

This was my dads favorite taco spot, may he rest in peace. We came here for many years and still come once in a while but they always have the same great sazón.
