Here's something you haven't seen today: a review of a Mexican restaurant that serves beef birria. I know, I know... but El Taqueria El Taco Loco #4 have been doing it before beef birria somehow became a sensationalized SoCal Instagram hustle. Also, the birria these guys serve is better than most of the better-marketed birria trucks you're hitting up. I was at Taqueria El Taco Loco #4 this past Sunday at around 9am, and my Taco de Birria de Res ($2.30) came out literally within 15 seconds of my credit card being swiped. Had it been sitting for a while in a queue of rapidly deteriorating pre-prepared food? Nah, the thick handmade yellow corn tortilla was still warm from the griddle, and the warm beef had held on to its juices soaked into its mostly taut, sometimes tender textures. The scorching salsa roja drizzled atop the beef had a loud vinegar flavor: rare, but welcome. The interior of Taqueria El Taco Loco #4 won't win a beauty contest, but outside seating is available, as well as a drive-through. Yes, in greater Los Angeles, you can now get great birria tacos faster than you can get a cup of coffee.

Ordered a large Agua Fresca which went for 7 dollars just for them to fill it up with nothing but ice . 2 sips and it was done! I went to tell the employees and they didn't seem to care and went on to charge me $5 for a refill and instead... when they refilled it they stacked more ice on top of what was already there.. I also ordered a posole which every spoon of it tasted like nothing but salt . Never coming back here again

I had a shrimp cocktail and a ceviche de camaron tostada. The shrimp cocktail was gross, and the shrimp looked old. I got sick. Same for the tostada de ceviche de camaron. I spent $29, which I did not eat the food. For mariscos, this is not the place to come and eat.

I've been going here since highschool and they never disappoint. I always get a burrito usually carne asada. I have tried pollo and lengua and they are all delicious I do get alot of add ons to my burrito and they don't mind. I've tried their Jamaica it's delicious and the horchata as well. The textures and flavor of both are just right. Not too sweet and not bland at all. The one thing I fell in love with was when they used to dip the tortilla in the oil or grease then make the burritos it was just soooooo bomb bursting with extra flavors. I do recommend the red salsa inside the burritos it brings the authentic pure Mexican flavor together.. Btw I drive from Lancaster CA just to get the best and this...
