I am so disappointed in this place and the issues started as soon as I walked up to the cashier.
I was second in line and there was no greeting from the Hispanic girl taking orders. She had a serious attitude with all three of us in line and I definitely noticed. I really don't know how a place like this hired her. She mumbled things after I placed my order and just stood there leaning to one side without even caring about providing even decent customer service.
At lest the other girl working (Asian girl making drinks) was kind enough to say "have a nice day" with a smile as I got my order
It took 15 minutes for my drink since it seemed like NOTHING was prepped. The two girls kept throwing and banging things while running back and forth from the main prep area to the two back rooms.
Now for the let down on my order. I asked for the Banana Pudding matcha Latte with light ice. The ice request was followed which I appreciate. But the matcha was not mixed well and tasted super watery. As for the "banana pudding" aspect, it doesn't make much sense. There's hardly any banana flavor except for a small dime size piece of banana mixed in. The rest was just whipped cream with crushed nilla wafer cookies. And the lid isn't really ideal because the opening is so wide that you can't drink it like a normal lid. I wasn't given a straw but there was a spoon in my drink (which I thought was a straw until I got to my car) and I just have to wonder who is scooping out whipped cream to eat from this drink? You go anywhere else with some sort of cream/foam top and you're supposed to let the topping mix with the drink as you take sips. Eating whipped cream doesn't really make sense.
As for the ube basque cheesecake, it was definitely over baked and had a decent cheesecake flavor but hardly ube flavor. The color is gorgeous but it's not worth it.
$16 for this pairing...
Read moreI think I have a new favorite Boba place! This place really impressed me and it'll be about 45 mins from new home so not too bad when close by to go and get great Boba! I don't like too sweet of drinks so my usual is green tea with mango or peach flavor with Boba, lightly sweetened. however, they had some interesting flavors so I figured lets give it a try. I tried the Carmel Brulee flavor! OMG! wow.... that was just way too good. I could not resist. Yes it was on the sweeter side but it was just too good, it was a nice treat. Another drink I had was the sunrise peach I believe and that was more on the refreshing side. Also delicious. My fiancé and I tried different flavors than what we usually get and both were fantastic. They have plenty of parking outside and beautiful indoor seating, great staff and atmosphere. Will definitely return!! no doubt about this despite...
Read moreI was trying to find parking in the parking lot, when a white car jetted in and took the handicapped spot then the driver used a key to let himself in BL Tea. I had to park further away than I wanted and by the time I was parked the man was still inside. I told them this isn't right he denied worked there (he had a key) then claimed he was delivering something then the lady in a lavender shirt (refused to give her name) she then said he was actually her boyfriend).
I asked for the managers number and got a number that has no service.
He has a key, he might work there or might not, he delivers to the store and is the boyfriend of the woman at the front wearing a lavender top.
Either way that isn't appropriate for a cafe to allow their staff or staff significant others to block handicapped parking for the whole small...
