We went to āOriginal Barrio Fiestaā for an early dinner on April 02, ā22 that was around 6:35, placed our order. We asked for Kare-Kare, Crisy-Pork Alamang and grilled sisig (made of pork snout n pork ear) Food server came back with our grilled sisig less than five mins. The sisig wasnāt tender enough, hard to chew. Server was kind enough to replaced it with fried pork sisig instead. Order was placed at 6:40, we didnāt get our food ātill 6:17 and everyone else around was feasting on their food. The crispy pork shrimp paste was sautĆ©ed in garlic, onion coconut milk, we were caught surprised by that, wasnāt bad but wasnāt really good and entertaining either. Bottom line, that early dinner we had was pretty disappointing. We gave them our honest opinion about their grilled sisig, in return made us wait over half an hour for our food. They serve it to us in fifteen mins interval. Now weāre not so sure if they did it purposely or⦠You guess, but I sure hope so that they didnāt messed up with our food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAuthentic Filipino. Massive serving per order so you will definitely take home some of the food. And very tasty too. We ordered the pancit canton, adobo rice, lechon kawali, whole fried chicken with fried banana on the side, kalamansi juice and a take away of sinigang na baboy and pinakbet. What stood out from our order for me was the fried chicken. It was perfectly cooked and blends well with their catsup/ketchup with fried bananas on the side which when you dip in ketchup is also extremely good (I know, Iām weird). The restaurant was very spacious with lots of seating. And the servers are very accommodating and nice especially our server, the young tall fil-am guy with arm tattoo. We paid $141 in total just for the food, with tax. Definitely worth a come back Iād say. Also thereās 3 of us and we had to take home a lot of the food because they were really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would personally give this place a 3.5. Its not a bad place. They have pretty good food. My personal favorite is kare kare which is basically ox tail mix in peanut butter sauce with vegetables. It might seem weird to think how they add up in one pot but trust me, it's the best. The other foods though aren't that great. It was okay. The price is set just a tad too high considering the place they decide to establish it. They have deals for groups of family which would be a better off deal if you are in big groups. They need to work on there decorations more since it is a filipino restaurant, locals that aren't filipino need to really see how the Philippines is even if its just a restaurant the food and decorations would be able to...
