Outstanding food and service! Eagle Russian Armenian Cuisine is a charming family-owned, minority owned and operated restaurant featuring traditional Russian and Armenian cuisine in an unassuming strip mall with free parking.
I had this place bookmarked to try based on good-looking foodie pics for a long time. I arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon and encountered a musician who told me about this restaurant and how he'd been given platters of free lamb dinners worthy of a king when he was very hungry. After hearing this particular praise, I was super excited to try the food and I was not disappointed!
The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. There's a beautiful mural on the wall.
I tried to order Pelmini dumplings (Russian ravioli) but they were sold out. I asked the owner for advice and I ended up ordering the chicken Lula kabob platter which came with rice, grilled tomato, chili pepper, a cucumber salad and pita bread. I purchased sparkling water and a delicious pear juice "from the motherland" from beneath the glass at the front of the restaurant.
The portions are very large. The chicken Lula kabob is tender and flavorful. The cucumber salad is similar to taziki, fresh yogurt and chopped cucumber. It's very mild and refreshing.
I shared this takeout food with my family and we talked about Armenian Cuisine and history which reminded me of the kindness this place shows to local hungry musicians and where it comes from. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't...

Owner was friendly and very attentive. Food is just amazing. Huge portion of borsch with sour cream and garlic. Pork kebab felt a bit overcooked and dry but was really good too. Crab and Olivie salads had more pepper than usual but were amazing too The price is more than fair. This place has its minor flaws but I highly recommend it if you like delicious russian food and big...
Read moreCame into this place with lowish expectations, but I couldn't be happier with my experience. The service was very prompt and friendly (though it probably helped that the group I was with were the only people dining in at the time), the portions were generous and the food itself quite tasty. My only complaint was that the falafel wrap I ordered had way too much lemon juice or something, because it was almost inedibly tart. Picking just the falafel out was fine though, and the hummus and labneh were...
