I worked for Starbucks for 5 years, including at multiple roasteries, Iv never met such unhelpful and rude baristas. It was my birthday, which I showed with the app, and my id, (you can't change your birthday on the app) the first person who helped me was truly trying to help figure out which I appreciated, but then she called over her shift who was an older lady, who proceeded to tell me "sweetie it's the 11th" when it was the 12th. When I told her no it's the 12th kindly because I would know my own birthday, she got rude with me and told me she could "try" to give me a drink. But there was no way to give me anything else. Again as someone who worked at Starbucks, anytime someone proved their birthday to me I would make it happen with right now recovery, I don't know if she was hurt I corrected her on the day or was just having a bad day herself, either way there's no reason to be rude, I left without getting anything and said no problem to her, because I will never start problem's and I'm sure she was already having a bad day, but the way this lady talked to me was truly so rude. I hope her manager or district manager sees this and at least teaches kindness. I remember working with those people and it's the whole reason I left, so I hope she sees this and chooses kindness next time. Genuinely have never wrote a bad review but even after living in Chicago for five years Iv never had someone speak to...
Read moreIn all honesty, this establishment is managed horribly. Not sure whoâs in charge, but if your store is never open and customers have to wait in line at the drive thru for minutes on end with no response- or pull on the door to read a âWe missed you!â sign, the store shouldnât be open at all. The signs always say they are short staffed, maybe save people some time out of their busy lives and actually block the drive thru with your stack of chairs, again. Or make a bigger sign so people donât waste time walking all the way to your front doors only to have them locked, again. So if youâre a customer reading this wondering how the overall store runs when they are actually open, itâs a hit or miss- depends on who is working. Some of the workers here greet guests in the most ridiculous and loud âvalley girlâ tone and itâs so obviously fake. They sound like theyâre irritated to be doing their job or having to deal with guests. Service is a bit slow, no real difference if you order inside or in the drive thru (theyâre both a wait) I have hopes for this store as they used to be very fast and efficient. Definitely needs more...
Read moreTerrible service!!! I didn't give one star only because of one guy, named Philip. He was the only one doing something there as fast as possible and trying to figure out the line of 20 people. There's definitely something wrong with the management. He tried to ask girls to help him but didn't get much... Girls were moving super slow. One of the answers to him was "what? Who are you?" - this came out from one older blonde lady with kind of long hair she was holding some folder, looked like a manager.... Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. That was so unprofessional!!! I told her maybe she should help to figure out the situation... she said "I gotch ya!" and disappeared in the back room. Nice! I ended up ordering something quick couse I knew it will take them a while.
Whoever is higher than this awful management, if you want to change this location for better one, you consider to have Philip as a manager!!! Or just anybody,...
