AJ's Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Lunas

I work all week and look forward to Sunday morning because i can have breakfast here. Everything I've had here has been very good. However, the French toast with powdered sugar gets a special mention from me. It's F'ing bomb. So flakey, so light And crispy mmm. With a side of bacon and a cup of coffee. I'm just sayin..it's really good lol. Also the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and a sopapilla platter is always a sure thing if your ready to put down some serious grub. The staff is friendly and familiar with everyone. There are some personalities for sure back there, in what i assume is a family owned business. Which is another important reason to go here instead of a non-local owned operation. The menu has a ton of choices and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the amount of quality food that's served. I always sit at the bar, so if your solo it's not so awkward to be alone at a dining table. I really wish this place would be open 24/7. Maybe someday when Los Lunas has a population of 150,000 instead of 15,000. Until then it's breakfast...

My fiance had been wanting to take me to AJ's for some time already. Things seem to always come up so we never got to it. One mid-morning day kind of stressed with work our new move and so many other little things we decided to go have brunch at AJ's. Its a cute and quaint family owned restraunt in Los Lunas, New Mexico. The coffee was served in cup my grandmother would give to me when I was younger. I loved walking into her house and the smell of beans cooking in the pressure cooker and the fried potatoes that were sliggtly crispy on one side. The New Mexican taste of Red and Green Chili thats traditional at every meal. The customer service is excellent...I felt so welcomed and loved as soon as I walked through that door. The waitress did not only know what that customer wamted but also addressed them by name. A New Mexican tradional meal at a affordable price...A MUST HAVE ABSOLUTELY...

One thing you must know this place is cash only with that being said...TIP WELL!!!! This place isn't the classiest place in Valencia County by any stretch of the imagination but it probably is the funnest AND most importantly the most DELICIOUS!!!! These ladies are fun!!!! Service is outstanding!!! They make you feel like family!!! And the food!!! My GOD the food!!! Cooked with love!!! So yummy!!! Comfort food all the way!!! Eggs...perfect!!! Pancakes...perfection!!!!
