Upon entering the establishment I was immediately greeted by the bartender/server, Fran who was lovely. There were only two other people dining at the time l. I ordered the gyros plate at 2:20 pm on a Monday. The food came out quickly. The salad was creamy and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The place is very clean and of a high quality construction, such as granite counters on the bar. The music playing was a relaxing jazz piano at a good volume level. I come to Albasha all the time and typically always order the same thing. Chicken Swarma sandwich, sometimes I order the sauce in the side bc they put too much. However, this time they left it practically dry and I ordered some sauce for for sandwich. I was not told it would cost $2.00 for the sauce when I was damn near finished with my sandwich. In that case I would’ve have even got the sauce. Didn’t find out till I got the bill and they had already thrown out the sauce I paid for, which I had only used a tablespoon’s worth. So...

Really pretty restaurant. Very clean. The service today was....ok. Not what we are used to eating here. The letdown came with my food. The chicken clearly had not been properly trimmed and I had more fat pieces than I have ever seen. Also, rather than the chicken being sliced like the normal schwarma, it was in like huge chunks. Guess I got the leftovers from last night. Very disappointing for the price. It might be a while before we are back which is sad because Albasha used to be my first pick when I get to pick out...
