Pot & Paddle Jambalaya Kitchen — Restaurant in Louisiana

Y'all might have forgot to add my banana pudding, but ya sure didn't forget to add the flavor! I came here a few minutes after closing but they still took my order anyways. Fella said, "you bouta eat real good my dude", and he was not lying. I got jambalaya and beans and gumbo/rice and there was so much food in there that I was able to eat off it for 2 days. Perfect, simple and delicious food with just enough spice to make it flavorful. For being the last order of the day, I was surprised by how great everything was. I drove an hour away before I finally ate and the food was still plenty warm enough to eat. I'm from Cincinnati, so idk how much I know about good Cajun food, but this sure seems to be a great place to get it. Wish we had a place like this back home. Keep doin what y'all do, cuz y'all doin it right! I'll be back for that banana...

Let me just start by saying I like the food... I have been burned twice by the customer service. The first time I placed an order for pasta jambalaya was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. I came in thirty. Was told it would be forty minutes before my order was ready and they looked really annoyed by me. The owner suggested I go to Mandeville to pick up my order. I chalked it up to a mix up, bought chicken jambalaya and went along my way. Christmas Eve I had placed an order for chicken jambalaya in advance. My employee stated I had ordered gumbo “I hadn’t” and was given gumbo. The gumbo was ALL roux with two chunks of meat. A giant bucket of roux when I promised my guys jambalaya. I really enjoyed the foot but I can’t continue to...

Y'all, this is pretty good. I got the meal deal for $11.00 and lemme tell you how much food it was. I'm a 300# man that doesn't run away from food and I couldn't finish it. It probably could have fed two normal people just fine.

I got the jambalaya and it's a good 4/5 stars. A little light on the flavor but the sausage and chicken were so tender and the portion so huge I was perfectly happy with it.

The bowl of gumbo was 👌💯. I actually ate all of that first.

The coleslaw was really good for those of you who partake. The macaroni and cheese was alright, but pretty good with a sprinkle of Tony's (provided).

Staff was very friendly and service was fast.

Can't ask for much more. Will probably return here...
