Bailey Crispy Fried Chicken and Fish - West Monroe — Restaurant in Louisiana

The food, service, and atmosphere is deplorable! They fry so much chicken at one time until it's almost piled up to the top of the warmer! They give out old chicken from the back of the warmer literally! I ordered 8 pc white and the wings were so old they had turned dark black from drying out. The breasts were old and dried out. I took some back one day and the manager asked me if I wanted him to heat it in the microwave because it was old and cold! The young girl that works there is very rude and thinks she is cute! She should go back to the Forsythe location with their horrible food as well and her lazy attitude! They always lie and say the food is fresh when it's not. This place is going downhill! I wish I had taken pictures of the food and how dried out, hard, and discolored it was! Do better Bailey's! There should be a separate counter for the hot food and the regular convenience store purchases! They have a space that was a daiquiris lounge that can be utilized for the food counter which would cut down on long lines and wait times! I don't feel like waiting 10 minutes for cigarette buyers, lotto ticket buyers and alcohol buyers in the line wasting time while my food sits on the counter getting colder...

I love going to this place to get my fried catfish and chicken good people, but most of the times I have went up there my hush puppies are 90 percent of the time hard but on rare nights the hush puppies are soft. Also, the boudin balls are delicious but too expensive. Basically $1.50 per ball when I can get a package of 3 large boudin for $4-5 at the store. $0.50 per boudin ball sounds logic to me. No one wants to pay $2.50 for 2 boudin balls unless you have the cravings for them. It's cheaper to buy your boudin at the store and fry your boudin balls at home. I ordered four pieces of fish, fried okra, and three boudin balls. The okra was inedible. I took two bites and threw the rest in the trash. It tasted like it was cooked day before yesterday and has been sitting under a heat lamp since then. Disgusting. The fish was edible. It wasn't good, but at least I was able to eat it. After two pieces though I was done. The boudin balls were ok. Definitely the best of what I ordered but that's a pretty low bar. I will not even consider...
