Really enjoyed this experience. My boyfriend and I watch this show regularly and it's always a great laugh after a long day. We finally got the opportunity to go to Duck Commander and see it in person. We were hopeful to see the group, but didn't get the chance. Duck Commander has been turned into a store (shirts, hats, cookbooks, duck calls, videos, cups, etc.) and you can also take the tour ($20 for adults, kids are cheaper). The tour is self-guided. You watch a video first, then proceed through various rooms of different information. It shows Phil and Kay as kids and their lives growing up (high school years, Phil in football, etc.). There's a section for Si and his military experience, Sadie's activities (camps, outreach, Dancing with the Stars), memorabilia from Duck Dynasty (trophies, carvings, the basketball goal, etc. from the eipsodes), the family tree, Willie's office, the workroom (where you get to put together a plastic duck call and try it out; there's an instruction video), etc. We spent about 1- 1.5 hours walking through the warehouse tour. After the tour we were given a mystery goodie bag, which had a hat, dvd, and cup.

If there's anything that could be improved upon it would be possibly adding a blueprint of what the warehouse looked like before turned into the attraction that it is today. It was really hard to picture it as you walk through the tour. Coming based on the interest of the t.v. show we were wanting the experience as authentic as could be- I mean you are in the warehouse, but we wanted to see the warehouse as we saw it on t.v.

Afterwards we went to Miss Kay's restaurant located downtown. It was good. Highly recommend the steak and mac &...

We are currently moving across country and decided to stop in since we love the show. After reading reviews, we thought it would be fun to see the shop, learn some facts about the family and how the business grew, but also for our 4 year old to make a duck call. Unfortunately, since they opened the new "Experience" tour on Monday, they do not have patrons make duck calls or receive items as mentioned in previous reviews any longer (we were told it was just a filler to hold visitors over while the new tour was under construction). We thought it would be pretty interactive and something neat for our daughter to experience. In reality, it is watching a bunch of video clips and walking through areas that aren't even finished yet but you still pay the normal admission price of around $20 a person. Though you learn a little bit more background on the family and business than what is shown on the show, it is NOT interactive or worth $20 each!! Would have definitely preferred the "filler" tour! Especially since the new tour isn't even completed!....I guess we can at least say that this experience is off our list for good..... However, we WOULD recommend Willie's Duck Diner. Good food, reasonable prices and very hospitable staff members. Heather was great! But this was the best part of the stop... Very...

A nice place just to go see if you're a fan of the show like I am. It looks much more rundown and cheap in person- that was actually very surprising. The show makes it look much nicer and less touristy. The area it's in is also surprisingly run down looking. Doesn't look like a very nice or well kept neighborhood overall. The place had too few t shirt sizes (No 3xls anywhere from what I could see, so that was a sad point for me). A lot of the souvenir stuff was overpriced, and it kind of feels like they are only taking advantage of the show's popularity- like it's a side thing to do if you happen to be in the area, not that it's kept up well enough (the entrance to the building alone says a lot- it looks like a rusted metal roof and a door that was half broken, had to push hard to get it open).

They have a tour of the backroom where you can see where they make the duck calls (think it said you can make your own), get a duck call you make, a bobblehead, and one or two more items...it was pretty expensive however. Think it was $20 per person. that seemed too high.

Okay if you love the show...we went in, walked around, decided the tour was too much and left. Took a couple of pics outside then left. Probably for massive fans of the show only and mostly only to say...

We HAD to stop our way through! We have watched the show and followed Sadie’s journey. Willie has been at our church a few times, we love the Robertson fam jam. The young associate manning the front desk today was on her phone and didn’t acknowledge us until my husband walked right up to the desk to buy tickets. She said tour didn’t start until til 3 (it was ten minutes til), so he assumed he had to wait to pay when she said nothing further. When it was three minutes past he decided to ask again and she exclaimed she was waiting on him (we had no idea what we were waiting for!). Anyway, the tour is great! It was very cool to see pieces from the tv show and Sadie’s costumes from a few dances on DWTS. We laughed when we saw the carved wooden statue of Willie (remembering the episode and how it went down!). At the end of the tour it has a few plaques writing about the new movie “The Blind” that came out last month. We got a Duck Picker duck call (for mallard hens) with our paid tickets and it can be taken apart to clean after blowing on it time and time again. Super neat to actually hear it in person instead of just on tv :)

We went to see the place where the Robertson family had their business. Staff was friendly and the place was simple until you take the tour which is geared more for adults, The tour starts with a video outlining the business in the duck dynasty fashion with less comedy. My husband and I found it very interesting. Then you walk through a door and you're on a self-guided tour. What I found impressive was the manner of respect the family had for its history. If you like the duck dynasty show, you will enjoy the walk through. A duck call and a quick lesson of how to use it is included in the price of the tour. Ask questions if you need help, the crew is very personable. We didn't get photos but would have if a tour guide had been available to help. Merchandise was more expensive than it really cost them so they are making money hand over fist. The one detail I wanted to know more about was covered by a case leaving me without a way to access it. I'll have to look up info when we get to my other computer.
