Bakers Dozen — Restaurant in Louisiana

I’ve patronized Baker's Dozen for years and after this experience I can’t even go back. I ordered a dozen and received 1 free. They were pretty much out of all donuts so I had to pick from a limited selection. I chose the donut, tasted and didn’t like. I Informed the worker (tall, slim male) and asked for a different donut. He the took the donut, threw it in the trash and went to the back. Theresa ( I think that’s her name) she’s been there for yearssssss came out and with an attitude told me my donut couldn’t be replaced. I explained to her that the worked threw it away without asking, she was not listening or dared to care. She had the worst attitude ever!!! The worker threw my donut away without asking, why can’t it be replaced???????

Theresa is an older kinda heavy lady, I think she’s the manager. Over the years her attitude has gotten worse and worse. I can’t even go to Bakers Dozen anymore cause if I see her it was spoil my appetite. She has horrible customer service and negative energy. You should not bring misery into a place of work especially front facing hungry customers. *Even the workers complain about her!

DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO BAKERS DOZEN!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY!!! I never post reviews, but I will take the time to post this one. I ordered letter donuts for my son for his high school acceptance day. I placed the order a week in advance. I received a confirmation and total price for the order. I go to pick up my order and am told they forgot to make it. The employee told me her bosses are the only one who knows how to make them and they are gone for the day. She called her bosses and they offered to make them for tomorrow or I could buy regular donuts! Now I understand people make mistakes but as a business, you come back and fulfill the order you promised to fulfill!!! Instead they acted like they couldn’t care less that I now have no letter donuts and it’s too late to order from anywhere else. I frantically called around. I have never been treated so poorly. It all started a few months back when my church was giving out free doughnuts after church. I took one and on the first bite knew that this was the greatest doughnut I’d ever had. I had already gotten into my car, so I wasn’t able to ask where it was from. Since that day, I’ve thought about that doughnut a lot. Last week I decided to go around tasting at doughnut shops with my husband to find it. After a few with no luck, I decided to ask around at church, where do they normally get doughnuts? Last Sunday, multiple people guessed Bakers Dozen. I came home this afternoon to a little bag of bakers dozen on my kitchen island (from my husband)- finally the moment! Could this really be it??? Alas! It was! I ate the them quicker than I’m proud to admit and my oh my. I have never had a better doughnut. Never....
